Just wanted to give you a heads up that we've changed the way that the Constant-Content email works for new authors (that is authors with no articles accepted).

We've been having ongoing problems with people signing up and sending customers either articles in the email itself and/or propositioning customers to take the work off site for ridiculously cheap rates. Customers often report these folks to us and they are suspended from the site. But it makes for a lot of spam in the customers inboxes and as a consequence we wanted to find a way to allow regular authors to communicate freely but stop the spam.

So we now require that you have at least one article accepted by Ed. before you're able to communicate with customers. New Authors will still receive request emails and will be able to submit articles to requests just like, but they won't be able to send emails to the customer until they have at least one article accepted. I understand that this makes it difficult for new authors to get clarifications on a request, but for the sake of providing good spam-free service to the customers this is the route that we're taking. New Authors aren't added to the private request list until they have articles accepted, so new authors won't be able to be chosen for a private request until they have some articles under their belt, by which time this restriction will be lifted.

New Authors can still communicate with other authors.

Along with this new feature we've rolled out a few small improvements around the site. That said, if you notice anything that isn't acting as you would expect please let me know at support@constant-content.com
