How Do You Submit Revisions

I'm new. I submitted an article that was returned for revisions, I made the revisions, and I thought I resubmitted it. Apparently I just sent the original version in again, so it was rejected again. They said I can make the changes and resubmit, but I can't figure out how. I think I'll just forget about this article rather than irritate anyone by sending it wrong again. But they might want me to revise something else in the future--are there step-by-step instructions somewhere on how to do that? Thanks! (I don't have much experience with downloads.)
