About the article's preview page

Post by squonk »

One of the articles I'm writing is based entirely on my own experience living and working in a foreign country. I'd like to indicate that fact in my article's summary when I submit it, but I'm not sure whether that would break the "no first-person" rule. Can I use a term like "based on the author's experience" or something similar? Thanks for the help.

I should think that would be acceptable. It should give the article credibility. What you can't do is use the first person in the article itself, but you obviously know that..
