Wondering if anyone has sold a travel photo through CC for a destination outside the US.

Excellent tip from Celeste from a previous post:

<If you go to "Recently Sold," you'll see the recently sold articles as usual. In the red bar above, you can click on "recently sold photography" and it will show you the latest photos sold.>

Last time I looked at this (a few days ago) only one photo was showing as sold since the Photography section was added.

I see two photos sold - one Nature and one Transportation.

Good luck. Maybe yours will sell and get the ball rolling.

I haven't had any luck with my photos. None of them have sold but they have received a lot of hits.
I wonder why they aren't selling? It seems to be much harder to sell photos than articles.

Authors (including yourself) looking at the photos count as hits. It's not just buyers. The obvious reason that photos don't sell here is that there are not enough buyers for them here. Compared to the big slick photo sites, CC is just tiny and poorly stocked. CC seems to fill a niche for articles not filled elsewhere, but others fill the photo niche better.

That's true, JadeDragon. It's a pity because I am very pleased with my photos.

Maybe we should try the big sites?
