One of the big stock photo agencies has announced a new $49 price for web size photos. All images are 72 dpi - way below the size that Constant-Content is offering.
The competitor is Getty Images. The business model is slightly different than CC so it's a little like comparing apples to oranges. You see, with Getty photographers (not all of them) have to pay them upfront - a collection fee of $50 per photo.
Thought this might bit of info might be useful as market and price research. Thought I should share it.
