why my name does not show?

Postby mukesh on Sat Dec 12, 2009 9:24 am

Hi all,

I am one of the first photographers to have sold a picture on the constant content. This is the evidence:

http://www.constant-content.com/account ... ?act=yours

Yet the list of photographers who have sold a picture does not show my name. In fact my name was there earlier, but has been deleted.I wonder why!!

Constant Content does not reply to my emails. It does not respond to my postings here in the forum also.

I'm not complete familiar with the photography section, but from what I know about the article section, the "sold and archived" field only counts the full rights licenses that have sold and been removed. So, if all of your photos sold for usage, then they are not archived so that will show a zero. As far as the top selling photographers part of the page, it looks as if the top seller has sold two and the other nine people have sold one. How many have you sold? If more than two, you should appear on the list. If only one, then it's possible that your name got bumped when another person sold two, especially if you were in the number 9 or 10 position. I don't know, just a theory.

Hi Celeste,

Thanks for your reply. A look at http://www.constant-content.com/authors_p.php will show that out of the Top Selling Freelance Photographers none has sold a unique photograph and only 2 have sold full rights. Now, I have sold only one, that too for usage. The last person on the list also has sold only one picture, though full rights.

Thanks any way for responding.

Regards,
Mukesh
