I have an article that I wrote and sent to a private requester. She sent it back to me with her additions. I want to submit it, but I know it will probably get rejected based on her part of the submission. Can I make a note somewhere on the submission form to the editors, saying something to the effect that this is what the client wants? Thanks!

In similar situations, I've left a note to the editor in the short summary. It's not something that's encouraged, but it's really the only way of passing on a message like that.
