Hi everyone!

Just wanted to introduce myself - I have been registered at CC for a while but am just now learning about the site. It looks great - and I can't wait to get going - any pointers are welcome.

I have written for AC, and have done some other freelance writing. I am currently working on the second draft of a novel and am trying to get a children's book published - but, that doesn't pay the bills. Oh - and I will published in a brand new magazine that comes out July 1st - I have two articles in it and I am very excited about it! My first time being published in a glossy!! Yay!

I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of 2 - all lovely girls! I look forward to meeting more writer here and wish you all success!!

Hello Cindyh2k. The best tip here is to proofread your work before submitting. The editors are VERY good at what they do and they will reject you. Do not take it personally. They are very professional and expect the authors to be also. Good luck!

Welcome! A good tip (the best as far as I'm concerned) is to write steadily. Whether you write one article per day, three, or five, pick a number that works for you and stick with it. That way, you continuously build up your repertoire of saleable articles and increase your chances that your articles will be bought.
