Re: How are articles *actually* priced per word? - Data Anal

You've certainly done a lot of great research that will be helpful to the writers. The only thing that worries me is if writers start lowering their prices based on how someone prices their work. I have noticed a lot of low priced articles selling lately. Unless I am submitting an article for use (...

Re: How are articles *actually* priced per word? - Data Anal

There is someone going through each category and buying use articles. It's cool, because he's buying old old articles (he bought mine from 2009 and 2010). This also skews the above data, because the above is for a month and the big buyer is probably skewing the results. Plus, he is manually pulling...

Lysis wrote:Are you using Excel? I have a customer who wants charts with articles and those look nicer than the one I submitted.
Hi, yes, the charts are from Excel 2013, although I capture the data in Google Spreadsheets. The charts are pretty much the default column and pie charts in Excel.

What sold on Constant Content in June 2014?

Based on the 'Recently Sold' data under 'Writing Ideas' in Constant Content, here's a breakdown of what sold in June 2014. A few points to note: - The data isn't 100% accurate, it's probably closer to 80% - 90% - This data is based on June 2014 - You can find more detail elsewhere on this forum, thi...

A Gentle Plea to CC - Consistency in Editing

I, and I am sure, all of the other writers here really appreciate the work that the editors do - I know it must be challenging dealing with such a wide range of styles. As someone that owns an editing business (my wife is our chief editor), I know that it's important to maintain a high level of qual...

Data Analysis - Chances of Selling & How Much You Can Make

It's back to my beloved spreadsheets, for what I hope is some more insightful data on sales here, how much writers can make, inventories and more. This follows on from the previous threads that I put together on data from analysis of CC information, which you can find elsewhere in this forum. In thi...

How are articles *actually* priced per word? - Data Analysis

You know how much I love my spreadsheets, so in an effort to shed more light on average prices per word on CC and the sweet spot for articles, I have dug into the data once more. I collected information on around a hundred articles selected from across the site, both from the general article catalog...

Content That Sells - Visualizing the Data

I recently put together some data on the various types and prices of content that sell here, based on collecting together for week's worth of information from the recently sold content page. You can find the stats for that here: https://www.constant-content.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=76719 Be...

Re: What types of content are people buying and selling?

It was manual scraping, based on the 'recently sold content' section - I've been gathering data from there over the last few weeks. I amalgamated it together and ran it through a text analyzer, cleansed the results and posted them here. I'm working on visualizing some of the data as well and should ...

What types of content are people buying and selling?

Following on from my recent analysis of sales on CC ( https://www.constant-content.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=76719 ) I recently carried out an analysis of four week’s worth of article sales on Constant Content (CC). In total, I analyzed the titles of just over 800 articles, sold over the las...

Recently sold content and what it can tell us
