Re: Where are the comments?
There used to be comments next to the articles, but since they did the upograde, I think something is borken. I have received several stating there were comments and when i sent a reply, they simply emphatically told me to read the comments next to the article. There still were none. Like I said, I ...

Re: "We no longer accept lists"
My most recent list submission had two paragraphs for every item on the list and got the rejection "paragraphs must stand alone from their subtitles." But said nothing about the list itself. Further, the editor might have simply skimmed the article without seeing that there was a minimum o...

Re: Pay?
Payday is only on the first of the month UNLESS you change your settings to bi-monthly. Then its roughly around the 1st and 15th. In fact, this is the first time I have had money owed and NOT been paid exactly on the first/fifteenth. It is now the 2nd and no pay and its just sitting there. I certain...

Re: Edit Keywords?
Since my articles only display the first five keywords I enter, I never worry about putting more. Further, I only use keywords that are actually in the article. Therefore, I put all my articles through an analyzer and pick the top five most reoccurring words. I figure, if the keywords are not in the...

Re: Self-Promotion/Marketing, Pen Name, etc.
I had a similar thing happen to me. The girl looks totally differrent from me and writes totally different subject matter. I found it was easy to brand myself with my real-life image, but edited the image a bit so its not glaringly like me. I kept my pen name as my brand and now have a blog, linked-...

Re: Are Editors Subject Matter Experts?
Yes, I find placations and promises to try hard next time get me more sympathies. I just wrote a beautiful article reviewing an artist and it kept coming back with "too many mistakes" even after a sentence-by-sentence rewrite. I simply took it down and went back to what works for me, artic...

Re: Rejected for being an autobiography?
This was article number 19 that I've submitted here. Still not sure about the rejection of "autobiography" or "redundancies" or even "glaring misspellings." Ihave been over this article dozens of times and am still confused. I might just pull it down and put it on my re...

Re: So How Are Sales?
Shadowing content? You mean stealing others ideas? Yeah, that's why I don't post my ideas here or articles, etc. There are huge changes with how Google is handling content. This means that our customer base is being forced to change. It will be a good thing in the long-run. The new stricter editing ...

Re: Problem with Inline Comments
My inline comments are not showing up at all, so its leaving me very confused with rejections that say "see inline comments" and there is NOTHING there. So, I keep notes on other rejection notes and go by them. Now when I recieve a rejection I look first for their notes and then edit for a...

Re: So How Are Sales?
The one other site I used to work for has been at zero requests and traffic is dead at the places I contribute. In my 13 years experience, January is normally dead with an upswing around tax time. Then, summer is dead, with an upswing during back to school that lasts through the holidays.
