Re: How are articles *actually* priced per word? - Data Anal

I see articles for sale in the price per word range of 10 cents and up. so i am assuming the average sale price includes those who sell for a penny or two and that is bringing the stats down so low?

Re: How often do articles sell?

I had my first 12 or so sell almost the same day they were put up. I've had others up for six months. It really depends on the market, time of year, whats trending, what clients find appealing, when clients are looking, which clients are looking, what clients budgets are.

Re: How are articles *actually* priced per word? - Data Anal

There is someone going through each category and buying use articles. It's cool, because he's buying old old articles (he bought mine from 2009 and 2010). This also skews the above data, because the above is for a month and the big buyer is probably skewing the results. Plus, he is manually pulling...

Re: Capitalization on titles

I use the short summary box to add a note to the editor. I put the note before my summary, and then I delete it once the article is approved. Works every time! I've tried this only to have articles rejected and sometimes deleted for it with nasty emails from the editor. "The summary box is onl...

Re: Rejection for 'not saving changes'

lol this happened to me too. OP, click the "Save Changes" button right under the editor *first*. THEN click the resubmit button. Doing revisions requires 2 submissions... first the "Save Changes" button under the editor and then only after you've clicked that button click the bi...

Re: How are articles *actually* priced per word? - Data Anal

That sucks. I need quiet. Sometimes, I do a lot better if I just write and then proof the next day. You'd be surprised the amount of changes you make if you wait a while to proof. I write on mondays and tuesdays, proof those two days later, so wednesdays and thursdays, then analyze keywords and pro...

Re: How are articles *actually* priced per word? - Data Anal

You've certainly done a lot of great research that will be helpful to the writers. The only thing that worries me is if writers start lowering their prices based on how someone prices their work. I have noticed a lot of low priced articles selling lately. Unless I am submitting an article for use (...

Re: Capitalization on titles

When writing a term that might be unfamiliar to the editor, add a note in the small summary section. Explain the spelling and meaning. That should take care of it. Editors certainly don't want to make mistakes either, and I think they appreciate the notes on technical terms, Internet spawned spelli...

Re: A Gentle Plea to CC - Consistency in Editing

I've noticed more inconcistency lately with the editing, as well. I can write several articles that are similar in tone and structure and one will be rejected, while the others are accepted. In some cases, it seemed more like a personal like or dislike was being applied. That being said, I've learn...

Re: A Gentle Plea to CC - Consistency in Editing

I don't know that I've ever heard of anyone getting a reply from the support email address to be honest. It never hurts to try sending it again, though, just in case it catches someone's eye. I've had them respond only once and it was something else major. I had a question about removing all my con...

It can take up to three days. I've only seen them pay on time once, usually its by the third.
