Re: Plagiarism rejection for unpublished content
I'm confused about where the content originally came from. If your mate bought it from someone for full rights then ended up submitting it here, I guess it was initially posted somewhere online for him to find it and buy it. So my guess is that's why it was flagged at CC - it has already been somew...

Re: Can't see project requests?
We've had several comments about writers getting the notifications and the requests being gone; it's just that there are a large number of writers going for a limited number of requests on this project so they get snapped up fast. Should be more to go around shortly. As long as you're getting the em...

Re: Question about Public Pool Requests
Thank you! Now I'm keeping "My Projects" page open, so I can see them come in (hopefully!). But I still think someone out there has an app I don't know about, which intercepts projects en route. This forum is great- as I've never once received a response back from the Customer Support her...

Re: Vanishing Writer Pool Requests
Revisions come through faster on the site (in the Notifications tab) than they do via email, so if writers are on the site they'll see the requests before you do if you're relying on email. The project you're on has quite a large team to handle larger volumes of content, so if a smaller batch comes ...

Re: Writer Pool Problems
Sorry about that. I know which project you're talking about too. Bit of a mixup in communication, but we've confirmed that if you get them in for Monday you'll still be fine.

Re: New Constant Content Site
Thanks for the feedback, everyone! We've been working on this for a while now and are about to start testing this out to make sure it works better for everyone. We actually hadn't sent anyone to this new version yet, but I'm glad that you guys liked it after you found it :) It should be mostly funct...

Re: Request via Inbox
Hi Lin. I think this has been sorted out via email now, but thought I'd update you here too just in case. We've setup a standing request on the client's account so you submit all of her articles to that request going forward. We've also reached out to see if we can setup a quick demo with the client...

Re: Payday Before the Long Holiday Weekend?
Sorry, we did issue payments yesterday but it appears some writers weren't sent their payment. We're issuing any missing payments right now and they should be with you shortly.

Re: Casting Call rejection question
For casting calls, you're just supposed to message the client and tell them you want to work with them. You're not supposed to write an article, or submit an article to them. We're updating this system in the next little while to clarify the process and make it easier to use.

Re: Original Content Rejected as Unoriginal
Sorry to hear this happened. You haven't been suspended for this; you just got the message we send when we detect that content isn't original. This shouldn't really impact your account with Constant Content at all. Just a note - we do recommend that writers not submit content that could have been us...

Re: Well, that was a bit frustrating
4. If you're going by the request listed for each article on the My Content page to determine if an article has been released, that may not work. Even after we've released an article, the original request will still show there. The best way to tell if your article has been released is to check your...

Re: Well, that was a bit frustrating
Hey everyone. Just wanted to comment on a few things from this thread. 1. If you disagree with an editorial decision, please resubmit and include a note on why you disagree with in the Note to Editors section. The editors will consider your notes and it might just be that they misunderstood somethin...

Re: Submission error
I believe this has been resolved now and the article is approved, but Lysis is correct. Something in the submission and how it interacted with the resubmission form flagged Incapsula to block just this one article. We haven't seen this happen with any others but are keeping an eye on it.

Re: Holiday?
Hi everyone. Sorry for not adding a note here, but the holiday did cause a bit of a delay here. Payments should be initiated today.
As Jennifer noted, while we do strive for payments on the first and fifteenth of each month, it can within a few days or those dates once in a while.

Re: No file attached
errr, derp. *now* it's resubmitted. Here I am telling people how to get an article through the system due to the unique pricing checkbox and I just made the same mistake.... again. I'm lucky I'm able to breathe or I'd probably suffocate from being too dumb. :( Yeah, we're aware that the unique pric...
