Re: Is It Worth It Any More?

I guess it depends what you use the site for. I don't personally get invited to any requests, and so all of the articles I sell through here are gallery articles. Do they sell? Sometimes, but I have over 200 just sitting around waiting. I used to write articles specifically for the gallery on here, ...

Re: New Writer Pool requests

Wow, well hopefully you'll be able to complete them before this evening :)

Good luck, and you know where I am if you need me.

Re: New Writer Pool requests

When I click on 'Writer Pool Requests' there are none available but that might be because I'm in one of the lower levels. Have you tried emailing or phoning the team? I've had some articles accepted today so I know some of them are working. If you do need help writing them, I'm free for the next few...

Re: Updated Request System

I'm a level 3 with no qualifications over A Levels so think I can pretty much give up on any private requests. At least I know why all my emails in answer to writer pools were ignored... I still think it's funny that 'French Wine Scholar' is listed as a qualification but 'PADI Dive Master' isn't - n...

Re: fairly priced spec vs. underpriced team: which is better

I'm pretty sure (though sure Kevin can comment) from reading Kevin's blog posts in the past, that when he joined CC it was during the era of broadband, credit card and energy articles that were being ordered en masse. It was a good time for many writers, and possibly the reason why he made over $2k ...

Re: A note on suspensions

It's good to see that established accounts aren't at an imminent risk of suspension, and that you are looking into ways to keep articles in the catalogue by suspended writers. If the 3 suspensions this year to established writers weren't due to professionalism, plagiarism, or violating the terms &a...

Re: fairly priced spec vs. underpriced team: which is better

Just so we're all on the same page, what specifically are folks referring to when they speak about things going back to the way used to be? I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone else, but for me personally, it's being able to submit content without fear of being banned from the site. If I'm ba...

Re: fairly priced spec vs. underpriced team: which is better

I just wanted to pitch in to say a couple of weeks ago I was submitting private requests and Eric and the editor made sure the content went through really quickly to the client. I did say a few weeks ago that I wouldn't be submitting any more gallery articles, but CC has restored my confidence sligh...

That's good to hear. Just wish they would communicate with people a bit better

Re: Account permanently suspended

This is insane. From professional writers to English teachers, no-one is safe. I stand by not submitting any new work until all of this calms down and CC communicate with us and let us know what is happening. I'm not willing to put my current gallery articles at risk, and when long term members of t...

Re: Another suspension

Oh crap. Well maybe he will still buy yours too - he has got you reinstated and he knows that your work pulls in traffic. You never know. I used to have an article store that I created through Open Cart but I never got much traffic to it. If you do go down that route and want some help, I'd be happy...
