Re: What other sites do you sell your articles on?

I make my most lucrative sales offline these days. I used to work through MediaPiston, which was terrific -- while it lasted; unfortunately the site folded. I do a little work through Text Broker and Hire Writers. I'm currently evaluating a couple of other studios. I recently signed up with a site c...

Re: Promoting unsold articles?

Not entirely. If you use hashtags, people following particular tags will see your tweets. Of course, it's best to have a good number of interested followers.

Re: Promoting unsold articles?

It is garnering me more views. I've been posting links to my articles, along with hashtags (#content, #'seo and so on) to make them more searchable. I've only just started so I'm not expecting a huge volume of sales, but in the medium to long term I reckon it will pay off.

Promoting unsold articles?

Following a tip from another writer, I recently set up a Twitter account specifically for promoting my unsold articles. I was wondering whether any other writers have done the same sort of thing; and if so, are there any other places where people promote CC work that hasn't been picked up yet?

Re: water damage restoration & wheat allergies

I tried writing on both water damage restoration and on wheat allergy symptoms. Only one of my water damage pieces sold -- and that went in the last batch of insurance articles, as I'd shot for an insurance-related angle. The others only have a few hits each, meaning that people probably aren't very...

Re: Energy Articles Needed

I know it might seem disappointing that your articles didn't sell this time, but it puts you in a really good position for the next round. This is true. After the last big order, I had three articles that didn't make the cut. A couple of days before this most recent order, those three all went into...

Re: Energy Articles Needed

Yeah, I wrote a few focusing on oil-fired heating (oil vs gas and other forms of energy, problems with oil tanks and furnaces) which are still in "review" mode. The great thing about these orders is that even if work doesn't get picked up this time around, they will usually go when the nex...

What's the status of this request? Are there any topics we should focus on in particular?

Re: Insurance and Credit Card Articles Needed For Monday

Two of my existing insurance articles got picked up but I think the three credit card articles I hustled to write missed the boat. Oh well, there's always next time! By the way, is there a difference between the public requests marked "Standing Request" and requests appearing under the Sta...

Comment boxes for potential clients?

Hello all, I was wondering -- how hard would it be to implement some kind of comment facility on our articles for prospective buyers? I see a few of my articles have attracted a lot of hits in a short time but they don't always sell. I'd be very interested in what deterred the client from making an ...

Hello, CC forums.

Hello all. I've been registered as a Constant Content writer for a couple of years now but hadn't got around to signing up here. I was inspired to do so after a run of successful sales; it seems -- mirabile dictu! -- that if you write about subjects that clients are actually interested in, you sell ...
