Thanks for all the replies.
The project is still visible when I submit to other projects, so I will try submitting to it and see what happens. Still no reply from Support.

Public pool project expired
I claimed a Public Pool project under the impression I had to submit just one article. When I looked a bit more closely, I think I may have been expected to submit 8 articles. An email to support asking for clarification remains unanswered (no surprise there, unfortunately). I would be quite willing...

Re: Problem with editing title on work awaiting review
Yes, title freezes after acceptance. However, the system will not save changes to Title after submission but BEFORE editor review. I think this is a bug.

Problem with editing title on work awaiting review
if I edit the title field and click Save Changes, the changes are not actually saved. However, when an article is rejected, it is possible to edit this field, but only until the article is resubmitted, after which changes are no longer saved.

Re: Rejected because wrong format for document name
This is becoming ridiculous. The latest rejection message: ==== Editorial Information for Your Article: ==== Please do not upload a file. The name of the file is generated from the title as it is written in the title field of the submission form. ==== End Editorial Information for Your Article ==== ...

Re: Rejected because wrong format for document name
Thanks Jasmine. As luck would have it, the article I chose did not have any source details. When I looked at some others in the project, I saw the kind of details you are talking about and could make some sense out of their formatting requirements. I modified the document titles to their format spec...

Re: Rejected because wrong format for document name
Thanks again, Lysis. I found the project document by following your advice, and discovered that the rejection message is taken striaght from it. That document does not explain what is meant by "ProvidedSourceName" so it's all a bit strange. When I go into Edit one of these articles now, it...

Re: Rejected because wrong format for document name
Thanks for the reply, Lysis. To me, the rejections seem to be standard editorial rejections, but what you say makes sense (that it may be the customer) in light of the message. I have resubmitted a doc, with my guess as to what is meant by "ProvidedSourceName," so I'll see how that goes. I...

Rejected because wrong format for document name
Hi folks, I've just submitted my very first 2 articles to writer's pool requests, and got the following rejection message for both. "Another aspect of formatting we would like to focus on is the file name when saving your completed work--- Please use the following format: ProvidedSourceName_Mon...

Ability to edit article title
I submitted an article to a public request using the request's title. That was really clunky, but I cannot change it. Rather than delete and resubmit the article, I'd love to be able to just create a new title.

Re: Spelling errors on Constant Content's own site?
I completely agree with the OP. if I were trying to source material and came across a content site with errors on the site, i would immediately look somewhere else. It is particularly ironic when CC imposes such high editorial standards on submitted content. Why not get an editor to check out CC's o...

Re: Having Trouble Getting Accepted Into CC
No idea - I assume it depends on workload, staff availability etc. I know that it sometimes takes over a week for submitted content to be edited. How long do you think it takes to get a response from CC

Am I now being considered for Writer Pools?
Lately, I've being receiving emails from CC with the subject line " Writers Needed for a Team of Experts," and asked to send an email if I think I can provide content on a particular subject.
Does this mean I've been elevated to the hallowed halls of Writer Pools?

Re: Having Trouble Getting Accepted Into CC
You need to be patient. If you have not received a rejection/acceptance message, then your application is still in the pipeline. I cannot remember the initiation process, but I do remember doing grammar tests and submitting samples. After that, I assume I was allowed to submit content. To the best o...
