Re: Do you share your Constant Content articles on social me
$20K, Renee?? That's terrible. Obviously if you had some way to claim some money back you would have tried... I don't suppose you've started writing a book about it all, have you? You must have been through a lot so you would have some interesting things to write about. Well, I can't compar...

Re: Old-Newbie Question
I have font issues here where articles I post in Times roman (or any other font) display in a myriad of fonts inside the editor. I have to fix that, each and every time. so dont worry about it. the new editor program is something of a goofball we have to contend with. Welcome back. I too signed up a...

Re: Do you share your Constant Content articles on social me
The only time I've ever been screwed over for cash was when I let my guard down for someone I knew 4 years ago. Actually, it was a friend of an ex-boss who owned a business, so I let my guard down since it was a legit business with cash and someone I knew through someone I worked for for like 4 yea...

Re: New author
Hi Welcome to CC.
I have found the Constant Content Blog to be very helpful in getting the editors the type of copy they want. There are not many posts, but it is soo worth it to give them all a read for the cornucopia of information the blog posts provide.

Re: I've made an editor really mad :(
Okay, one down and one to go. Five "there are" eliminations and once where I used 'this' to refer to the subject of the previous sentence. This was frowned up. This, That, These, There.. all frowned upon. I do document checks now after editing to eliminate the NO-NO words. the edit again,...

Re: Different editors for different topics
One of this editor's pet peeves, in addition to 'wordiness' is the use of "there are." There are many materials and if there are more than two, are two of the many sentences rejected by this editor. This sentence is awkward and wordy. not that I am one to judge, about the time i sit down ...

Re: Different editors for different topics
supposedly there are, but also it seems like they can jump from section to section or fill in. lately it seems like a few editors are on leave or vacation or something. I had articles in different sections and it still took over a week to get an editor to touch them.

Re: I've made an editor really mad :(
I used to have this one writer who was ESL, but she was so so nice. She would drive me crazy with the mistakes, but she always came back to me with an I'm sorry and would clean it up well. Always made me so angry that she was nice and I couldn't get more angry! lol It's so easy when the writer is a...
