Re: I don't know what I'm supposed to revise

Some editors leave notes within the article with a different color font. Check for that. Otherwise, use the arrow in the content editor to scroll down and there will be side notes on the right side. You'll see them when you get to them. I think some editors don't use them, because it doesn't account...

Re: Which of your articles sold with the fewest hits?

When Chrome came out, I wrote an article on it and it sold within a few minutes of being accepted. I'll never forget that. That one was my fastest sale. This was 2009 maybe? 2010. Can't remember.

Re: My private request article has been in review for 2+ wee

You could try emailing Nicole, but don't raise your hopes too high. In my experience, writer-side support is erratic at best. I suspect they print out emails from writers, scrunch them up, toss them in a trash can and pick one out at random once a month. I don't do anything here now but post to my ...

Re: Are Cheap Rates Killing CC?

I have not found that price matters at CC. I used to be like everyone else and sell at around $50. I never sold a ton every month. Now, when I sell 1 article it's worth 3 at my old rate, so I sell probably more in comparison with my new rates. I have good months and bad months here, but luckily it i...

Re: Are Cheap Rates Killing CC?

IMO, writers are dumb. No business sense at all. They immediately think the only way to make money is to be the cheapest person. Not true, but then again some people are only worth the lowest rate too. I fight it every day on Upwork. I don't concern myself much on here. The only thing that irks me i...

Re: Article Stolen from My Catalog

That's what I'm thinking. They can right-click and the content is hidden. Those links are disturbing from our POV. It used to be pretty bad back in the day with them selling to associated content and sites like that. I thought it died down but maybe it's just because the forum isn't so active anymor...

Re: Do you guys do any cold emailing?

I'm pulling from a type of white pages list. I need a human to go through and filter out the people who aren't in my line of work and those who don't have a website. I read around that there are scrapers and such but I think this will need a human. I figure with a human, it might cost me a few hundr...

Re: Article Stolen from My Catalog

How do they get the full article if it shows 33%? Do they have the rest of the article showing somewhere? I wonder if they can see the full thing if they put it in their shopping cart? That's interesting and I wonder how they do it. I imagine you'd know if they were just buying and returning to get ...

Re: Do you guys do any cold emailing?

Damn dude you are the ultimate awesome. Yeah, I know I got something good. It's just that initial push to get going. I know it's like working out. You dread it until you get going and then you get used to it. lol I've spent this week trying to find a data entry/research person to fill a spreadsheet ...

Re: Do you guys do any cold emailing?

I need to check here more often. Thanks for that! I still haven't gotten the nerve to send emails and tomorrow is friday so I think it'll be better to wait until next week. I'm gonna check out that site more. I've read ProBlogger is good too but haven't looked yet.

Re: Do you guys do any cold emailing?

Hey Hired, thanks! That email tool is really useful! I planned to send my first batch of emails yesterday but got into a project. I need to write the email and I know the subject is a huge factor in whether or not people open it. I'll write back and let people know if I have any success. I only need...
