Restoring ability to change keywords
Is it possible to restore the ability to change keywords in older articles? Please? The words customers use to search has changed a bit in the last 11 years, and it would be nice to have the option to update our keywords so that we might sell older content. Can I get a response from CC on this? Than...

Re: ANOTHER Flaky Client
Abbamay -- That's actually a really good idea, too! Maybe the fact that they sent out the survey means CC is getting ready to make a few changes for the benefit of the authors. Good luck with the house! WG~

Re: ANOTHER Flaky Client
CC just sent out an email which includes a link to a short survey where we can give feedback on the future of the site. On it they ask 'What is one change you'd like to see from Constant Content?" so that could be an opportunity to try and get the private request system changed. Since they are...

Re: ANOTHER Flaky Client
I was told that they have to put in 50%. Since they aren't required to follow through with the purchase, they can always use their money on a different project. Makes sense for customers but not for writers....

Re: ANOTHER Flaky Client
CC used to require customers to purchase all of the content they ordered before they could put in a new request, but not anymore - even with two "free" revisions in place. The system is designed to protect the customers more so than the writers. You are right though, Lysis, someone is alwa...

Good for you, Lysis! I've been turning them down as well (except for my regulars). Glad to hear you are selling well!

Notification that a request has been reopened
Is it possible for CC to send out an email whenever a client reopens a closed request? Without the notification, the request goes unnoticed for days, particularly when it is on page 3 or 4 of the request pages. So frustrating.....

Re: Not Receiving All Email Notifications?
Hi! This issue is an ongoing one. Others have commented about not getting all of their emails, and I've personally experienced this issue for many months now. Each time someone at CC responds to me, I am told the problem is on my end and to check my spam. Honestly, no one seems to know what the prob...

Re: ANOTHER Flaky Client
The problem is that CC does allow clients to keep their funds to use for other requests. No obligation exists for the clients to pay an author for the work that they do. Once upon a time, CC did request that the sale go through before the client could make a new request (or so I was told by someone ...

Re: ANOTHER Flaky Client
I'm sorry that this is happening to you, yet again. It has happened to me many, many times, so I know how frustrating it is. I really hate to say it, but CC has changed a lot since you and I first started ten years ago when we could rely on getting the support we needed to get payment for our effort...

I'd like to give you more, but that is the info that I received when I asked! Doesn't help much, does it?Isabelnewth wrote:That may be so, WG, but I don't think 'Your level is determined by part of a formula that includes several factors' is exactly transparent!

If you are part of a writer pool, your access level doesn't make a difference for those requests. You will still have access to any requests attached to the pool at the same time as writers with access levels 1, 2, and 3. The access level only comes into play when "public requests" become ...

Re: Not receiving multiple customers' messages
One of them had previously sent me another message that I never received, and he had to re-send the information. I've had this happen to me multiple times over the last year or so. I wish I can offer advice, but I haven't been able to remedy this problem. In some cases, the message is in my CC inbo...
