Re: Quiet times here at Constant Content?

Improving the search feature would definitely be a plus, especially since the current one doesn't actually work. CC staff sometimes works in the background. If you send them a note about articles stuck in waiting, they usually email the client. CC no longer phones them, so it is easy for clients to...

Re: Quiet times here at Constant Content?

Once upon a time I was told Constant Content buyers have 5 business days to purchase an article in 'waiting' status. I now wait the 5 business days and then automatically delete article and resubmit with tweaked title. Every extra day the article sits in 'waiting' status is another day you could be...

Re: Quiet times here at Constant Content?

I've been looking at the sales for the last few weeks, and often, catalog sales don't even reach a total of 20. With all of the writers on the site, most likely, few people are making what they used to with the exception of those writers who have ongoing private requests in bulk. I'm definitely not ...

Re: Quiet times here at Constant Content?

HI, I don't think it is you. I am seeing the same decline. A bunch of my regulars told me they found it difficult to navigate the website after the changes were introduced. Some of these clients stopped using CC and tried to get me to go with them. As a result, my monthly income dropped. Recently, I...

Re: Usage articles selling for full rights

In the past, customers had the option to upgrade to unique or full from usage as long as they did it on the same day, the article had not previously sold, and I had the article listed as available for unique or full rights. Unfortunately, this has happened in the past and now again with articles tha...

Usage articles selling for full rights

Anyone else suddenly having their usage articles selling for full or unique rights even though the article has previously sold several times for usage? It's happened to me twice recently, and I haven't had any luck getting CC to fix the problem.

Re: Waiting Status

Can CC staff let us know if they intend to begin handling these issues ever again? It might make more sense to do so rather than having authors resubmit and giving the editors more work to do when the content has already gone through this process. Perhaps a simple "release this content to the g...

Re: Waiting Status

Thanks. I've done the same thing in the past, but I am getting tired of having to delete, resubmit, and wait for approval. It would be nice if CC handled this problem like they did in the past. Perhaps, a simple fix that gives authors the ability to reclaim the articles would save time and trouble f...

Waiting Status

Can CC tell me who is handling articles stuck in the "waiting status" these days? I'd like to have mine released from this dormant state. I've sent multiple emails, but the articles are still stuck - some of them since JANUARY!

Shutterstock License

Anyone have an issue with the new shutterstock license? Can CC provide some info on how this is supposed to work. Apparently, one of my articles sold with a shutterstock license this morning. Of course, I did not receive any money, but my content lists as having one sale, is in the view status, but ...

Re: No, I'm not a narcissist...

I'm not a narcissist by any means, but it seems to me that the old site made individual writers stand out better; at least, writers were easy to search for. It took me 15 minutes to look up a writer today. The "writer search tool" is buried three tabs deep. You have to first scroll to the...

Re: Casting calls

I second the idea! Most of the time, I don't bother with them if the customer doesn't indicate what they are willing to pay, probably because they are fishing for those individuals who will undercut any price.

Re: Restoring ability to change keywords

Thanks for the reply! I should clarify my request to say "older articles that have sold for a usage license." I can edit the keywords on the ones that haven't sold but not the articles that sold for a usage license. It's frustrating!
