Music, Film, Gaming

Anybody have any experience with articles in these categories? I've been trying to diversify my catalog with a few of these types of articles, but I have a feeling that they're not very big sellers.

Re: Energy Request

Has the order been fulfilled? I actually have one article under review that I neglected to submit to the order.

The Editors' Schedules

Purely out of curiosity, what kind of schedules do the editors keep? It always seems like I'll get acceptances/rejections at the most peculiar times.

Re: Are energy, broadband and insurance articles still selli

A couple of my credit card articles and an energy article actually sold to the guy who usually buys the big bulk orders this morning. Maybe the demand for them will return shortly?

Re: Content Vanished??

Sometimes you get a rejection that they tell you not to resubmit to. Also, sometimes your emails from CC don't get sent or they wind up in your spam folder. If I had to guess, I'd say that both of these things happened to you for this article.

Re: Demonstrative structures, "This," "It," "That."

OH dear. Mind if I ask what section? I try not to use "this," because another editor dinged me for it. Can't remember if it was here or somewhere else. I do use it though, but I haven't had an article kicked for it yet. I know I use "that" too much, so I try to kill that word as...

Demonstrative structures, "This," "It," "That."

Am I the only one discovering that the editors suddenly have a bone to pick with this? I use words such as "this," "it" and "that" often as a way to avoid sounding redundant. In a rejection I received this morning, one edit was a series of sentences that went "Ever...

Re: Spacing for numeric lists

Yes. When I first started with CC, I had a few articles returned for not double-spacing the headings and paragraphs.

Re: Broadband, Insurance and Credit Card Articles

When an article accepted for these goes to "View" instead of "Waiting," does that mean that it's not being used for the request? I don't recall.

Re: Broadband, Insurance and Credit Card Articles

When these big orders come in, the editorial staff reviews them really quickly if you submit them to the public request.

Re: water damage restoration & wheat allergies

Just sold a short $20 wheat allergy article less than 24 hours after it was approved. Maybe they're looking for shorter, more inexpensive articles in general.

Word Count in Writing Ideas

If there was a word count added to the table of recently sold articles, I think it'd help us calibrate our price to word ratio for different categories as it seems like the clients' preferences might vary quite a bit depending on the subject.

I think that I accidentally forgot to submit my article for the standing request. Is there anything I can do about this?
