Me neither. Usually when this happens there's an explanation, like it's still the weekend or there's a Canadian holiday, but I don't think either of those applies here.

When you go to submit an article, the "Best Offer" checkbox is still very much available. Maybe it's not doing anything, but it's definitely still appearing on the submission form.

I do include a byline, and I know other author's do as well. I figure that if a client wants to delete it they can, but if they decide to leave it in, it's to my advantage to have my name on the piece. I don't think there's any disadvantage to adding a byline, especially since CC has now gotten rid ...

I don't think this change will affect me much, since only a small fraction of my sales were for usage, but I'd still like to hear what the logic was behind a change like this.

A couple days ago an article about "Bondage 101" showed up in the recent sales list. So I guess the editors must let stuff like that through sometimes, or at least they did at some point.

I don't believe there is any way to determine that a decision has been made, unless you are the one who's actually chosen. I sold more last month than I had in any other month yet this year, by a relatively large amount. This month, however, has so far been very dry. It seems to me like there's a lot of random variance in how much you sell over a single time period, and when individual articles sell.
