'Recently Sold Content' and what it can tell us

Over the last month, I've been analyzing data from the publicly available 'Recently Sold Content' page of 'Writing Ideas' on CC. The idea was to find out what was selling, what customers were paying and what areas were performing well. In an effort to help other writers here to create content that d...

Re: How to Sell More Articles

I've been doing some data mining and analysis of CC sales over the past month, based on the 'recently sold content' information. Analysis of around 780 articles sold over the last three to four weeks shows the following: There were around 400 'Full Rights' licenses sold, 30 'Unique Rights' and 360 '...

Re: The usage of first and second pronouns

I write quite a few 'how to' articles where I use 'you' all the time; I've never had an issue with being rejected for using second person pronouns. I do find though that some editors reject things for areas that other editors do not have an issue with, and I just put that down to each editor having ...

Re: Your content editor needs to be changed

I use Google Docs to write articles and then paste them into the editor - It auto-saves and can be used from anywhere.

Re: The New Revision System: Honest Fedback

I've just had a look at the email from Constant Content, and I think it just applies to requests for content from clients, not catalog sales; from their email (emphasis mine): 'We're writing you today to announce we've just rolled out a new feature that will improve communication with your clients o...

Rejected article - Un-publishing elsewhere - Can I resubmit?

Hi there, I have had a handful of articles rejected because I had originally published them elsewhere, and uploaded them to CC as usage rights only. CC were unable to tell if I was the original author of the articles and rejected them on that basis. (I have no issue with this and can understand that...

Re: Removed articles & usage rights?

Thanks for the response; they do have the same byline / account name when submitted elsewhere, so I will go ahead and submit them here as well.

Removed articles & usage rights?

Hi there, I have recently been going through and purging some articles that I wrote for various content sites; the articles themselves are generally of a high quality, and I believe would be suitable for Constant Content. Once I have removed them from elsewhere, is it permissible to sell them on CC,...

Full Rights vs Usage Rights - Popularity

Hi all, I can see from the 'Recently Sold' area in CC that Fullrights articles sell the most, but my question is, can Usage Rights also be a good route to follow? Has anyone here had much success with usage rights and which type of articles typically do well in that area? I'm looking to build up a h...
