Just to add to HG's sage advice, I also add a quick note to the editor in the summary field, explaining that it's a refreshed version of a previously approved article that got stuck in waiting.
I'm not sure if it's necessary, but I do it just to pre-empt any concerns over duplicate submissions.

Re: Are Cheap Rates Killing CC?
I certainly see your point, but customers who know the value of quality content aren't going to downgrade just because the cheaper option is there? I suppose if the 2c/word content is of equal quality to the high-end stuff there'd be an issue, but I dunno, is that often the case? I've no strong opin...

Re: Are Cheap Rates Killing CC?
I'm curious. What would you hope/expect minimum pricing to achieve?
Granted, we'd all like better rates, I'm just interested in your arguments for/against price controls as a way of getting there

Re: Site Search Feature
It seems counterproductive for me to use my time promoting my work on CC so that they can take 35% of proceeds. That's a concern of mine, but I'm coming around to promoting the catalog in ways that leave traffic under my control, so that I'm building worth outside of CC for if/when it makes more se...

Re: Do You Have Your Own Website?
"Website" might be putting it a bit strongly, but I have a domain, single page with a bit of text and that CC widget thingy. It was meant to be a stopgap but it's not really gone anywhere... I've just got the feeling that I don't really want to pay the 35% to CC and then spend time and mon...

Re: Article Views
Hi HG. Yes, hopefully CC will weigh in. But I think I have a different take on the editorial feedback issue than you... My understanding of the editorial feedback you linked to is that your access level is an overall rating of your writing skills on CC I can only assume this aspect of the access lev...

This appears to be a front page of sorts, although I'm damned if I can remember which link I followed to find it: https://www.constant-content.com/Category/Articles-Content-Articles/index-0.htm As to rating, "editorial feedback" is mentioned here: https://www.constant-content.com/knowledge...

I assume it's because there's now the option to purchase 3rd party images alongside catalog articles... Anyhow, after the...

Re: Article Accepted, Preview Pane Empty! Help, please!
Sounds like the auto-preview-generation-thing bugged out for whatever reason. Happened to me once or twice. I think I solved it just by manually cut&pasting the preview I wanted into the editing screen.

Re: Unfeasibly 'popular' articles
Well it happened again to a recently published article. I found this page, which I wasn't aware of before now. https://www.constant-content.com/Category/Articles-Content-Articles/index-0.htm I guess being included on that bumps up the views, although by what criteria articles are selected (or whethe...

Re: Asking A Favor, Please, and Thank-you!
Hi,
I think the long description is generated when the article is first published/approved, so changing the default setting will only have an effect on your new articles. Unfortunately, if you want to change the preview size of your older articles, you have some copy and pasting ahead of you

Unfeasibly 'popular' articles
From time to time, an article of mine seems to gain a strangely high amount of views. Like 10x the average of others over the same timescale. It doesn't sell, however, which leads me to think there's something else going on rather than it being a work of pure brilliance :D Seeing as I've not spotted...

Re: Egotistical Editor?
the article in question had been posted before, and made it through the editing process just fine Hehe, I certainly recognise this scenario. FWIW I now tend to avoid topics where I'm likely to run into this editor, despite having sold a fair few articles on those subjects in the past. Simply not wo...
