Re: I've made an editor really mad :(
Pizza sounds like a plan! The rejection came through at around 9am this morning, so that would be really late US time. They only looked at the one article, had a bit of a rant, gave up suggesting edits half way through, and the rest are still waiting for approval. I edited it as much as I thought w...

I've made an editor really mad :(
I've had about 20 articles in a queue on here for over a week, and they've finally started being checked this morning. I woke up to a pretty snooty rejection for wordiness, and reading through the comments, the editor is being really sarcastic with me. Considering how much money I've made for this w...

Re: Bi-Monthly pay?
I was paid bi-monthly in June and July, but so far I haven't received a bi-monthly payment for August. Hopefully they will be issuing them tomorrow, as I'm about as skint as it's possible to be right now whilst still having a home...

Re: CC useless for non-SEO/blog placements?
Even if you include a byline though, you still can't write personal or opinionated posts. CC just won't allow it. So, if the writer wants to sell "unique stuff with attitude and voice", she still won't be able to make a name for herself in this way on Constant Content.

Re: CC useless for non-SEO/blog placements?
I'm not sure if CC will be the right site for you, but if you're willing to write on more "commercial" topics, you can make some good money here. There are clients who will buy niche articles. However it takes time for them to find you, and if your work is "too niche", it may be ...

Re: Humorous Article Deleted
It's so frustrating Lysis. I submitted another one titled 'the top 5 crazy ways to make a living' - it was just as silly, but it was accepted. Within an hour of it being live, it's sold. There's clearly a market for humorous articles, and I'm not the only one losing money by them being rejected. Urgh.

Re: Humorous Article Deleted
I don't think they will re-accept it, I just want to know what they class as humour and what they don't. I can think of lots of great article topics that would be great for blogs and guest posting - "If Carlsberg Did Driving Lessons...", "Sexy Ways to Pay Off Your Debts"... All o...

Humorous Article Deleted
Hey, Does anyone know what the rules are regarding the submission of humorous articles? I submitted an article I wrote related to vampires and life insurance. It's, in my eyes, perfect for a guest post, as it discussed the benefits of life insurance, but with a humorous/sarcastic tone, and tied it i...

Re: How are your sales doing?
The beginning of the month for me was great - I made my monthly target of £140 in less than a week. Since then though I've had no sales at all, even though I made an effort to write on the searched keywords. Hope it picks up again soon! Client work on the other hand (away from this site) has been no...

Not sure if this will work, but I'll try:
Got him back home late last night - took almost six hours. I won't be driving that far again in a hurry

Re: Operation 'Write for a New Car' is on!
Ah my credit history is too poor for me to buy new :( I've decided to buy a 2nd hand car, but one that's only done 4,000 miles. It was used as the test car at a showroom so has all the swanky extras, just at 1/3 of the original price. Going to pick it up Monday and attempt a 120 mile drive back home...

Re: Data Analysis - Chances of Selling & How Much You Can Ma
I think guest posting works, within reason. When you're posting hundreds of posts each month, it's pretty obvious to Google that you're trying to spam the system. A mixture of no-follow and do-follow links, plus co-citations is vital. SEO companies are finding ways around it but I'm sure most of the...
