I've got the same problem that someone else mentioned. When I paste something into the content editor it goes straight to the top of the page and I can't paste it anywhere else. The extra spacing is still appearing between paragraphs too.

I can't imagine there'd be a problem. Private requests are usually edited and approved very quickly, as long as you've submitted it directly to that request by selecting it in the drop-down box on the submission form. I don't think I can answer all your questions, but sometimes there aren't very many public requests, and at other times there are plenty. You could try writing Christmas-themed articles for the general pool and hope someone buys them, seeing as the end of the year is approaching.

A lot of people mention that using the website contact form doesn't work because they don't get replies. In my experience I get replies only when I use the CC person's email address from my regular, non-CC email account. I don't do it often but it works.

I find that the "claim" buttons in the new colour scheme are really pale and hard to find. I used to be able to see at a glance where the private and writer pool requests were among the list of public requests.
