Re: Re-submission comments

Do we have to click "Save" too every time we reattach a file (before it is reviewed)? I notice the save button is above the attach file section. I always edit the text first, save, attach file and then save again just to be sure.

Can I still write this rejected article?

I now have several articles approved. Now one got rejected because of "run-on sentences" and "confusing sentence fragments." My fault, I know. My style there was different from my usual and obviously, I missed that in the guidelines. (If you must know, it's a description of some ...

Listing time of articles that sell.

Is there a way to know the original posting date of an article that gets sold? There are many articles I want to write, but I'd like to put into consideration the amount of time it may take to sell each one. Some of the articles I have in mind have a rather narrow focus and may take a while before t...

How do I delete and then resubmit an attached file?

OK. So I got a rejection because of a typo. I want to upload the new file and remove the old one. How do I do this? Anything I do just seems to add to the list of attached files! I want to delete the old one and attach the new. I'm confused!

Re: Question about selling old articles.

Of course. I will only sell them as "use" only. I just didn't say that because I already mentioned it in another thread. :)

I'm just wondering if it's OK to say "I published this before and want to sell it here as a used item, but I will delete the original post soon."

Question about selling old articles.

Hi. I have a blog that I just don't have the time to keep up anymore. I know I can sell such articles at CC so long as the byline is the same as what I use here, and the articles haven't been copied elsewhere without the byline. But is it OK too if I delete the blog either before or after I submit t...

Re: Questions about usage licenses, requests and bylines.

A key selling point of CC is that all the work accepted here is unique. If you have previously published content, then it is no longer unique, and is unacceptable at CC. Not quite the case. Previously published work for which you still hold the copyright can be accepted, for usage rights only, prov...

Re: Word Count in Writing Ideas

I wanted this feature too and even thought of suggesting the feature until I read the comments here. I think for now, it's more prudent to leave that feature out. You can work around it though if you really want to know. Just keep an eye on the articles that get approved and featured. Look at the wo...
