Re: Another suspension

Aw that's a bit sucky. Still, I'm glad that you aren't stuck with the 40 articles you had already completed for him.

Re: Another suspension

I've been sent a private request for a long article and due to Renee's ban, I'm very wary of going ahead with it. I've just emailed CC and asked about their banning rules and whether my account (which hasn't got a very great acceptance ratio due to wordiness) will be in danger if I submit the articl...

Re: Suspended, no reason given

I was suspended earlier this year and had my account reinstated after talking to one of the admins. When my account was reinstated, my old articles reappeared in the gallery too. It might be worth asking, but I wouldn't hold your breath for a reply. Maybe phoning would be better than emailing?

Re: Another suspension

It's surprising how much pressure can dent your creativity isn't it? On the few occasions that I've been spoken to rudely by the editors on here (and I must add that some of them are amazing, but some need to seriously chill out!), it made me start to doubt myself, and I never wanted to write anythi...

Re: Another suspension

Are they refusing to reinstate you Renee? Have you tried talking to Eric about it? I've had a lot of my articles rejected this year for wordiness and I won't be submitting any more now. I have hundreds of unsold articles in the gallery and if they do what they did to you to me, I'll have wasted hund...

Re: Another suspension

I am so sorry to hear this Renee After three years here, you would think you would at least be deserving of a response as to why they banned you. I had one once and I phoned them up and they retracted it, so hopefully you can do the same. I'll miss you too. You and Lysis are like the soul of these f...

Re: Accepted to Payment?

I started writing a reply here, but I deleted it because this thread is getting out of hand. I would like to say though, that if you contacted CC directly, it's likely that you wouldn't get a reply. They're not known for their great communication skills and it's something that has frustrated a lot o...

Re: My article was rejected for not being 'original content'

It's worth getting a Copyscape account just to check your articles. With the one you mentioned already being published in the past, a scraper site could have also stolen and republished it without you knowing. Any social media links may also show snippets of your article. Copyscape is pretty good at...

Re: Is the catalog marketed any more?

I haven't added anything to the gallery since the rejection scandal on here. I haven't made any sales either and I have hundreds of articles sitting around in the gallery. I'm kinda losing interest to be honest. If I have any unwanted client work I'll add it on here, but I'm not specifically writing...

Re: My article was rejected for not being 'original content'

I think that because it was already posted online, they won't class it as 'original', even though you originally wrote it. The webpage is probably still indexed even though you deleted the post, so that's probably why CC's plagiarism checkers are flagging it up. Could you resubmit it and sell it as ...

Re: Rejection(first article) + account permanently suspended

That seems pretty harsh. By the look of your forum post, your writing looks really good to me. I've stopped adding new articles here for a while until the editors are a bit less burned out. If there is a way to appeal, I would try and do so. The editors don't seem to comment on these forums, so I do...

Re: Inability to work

Hi Renee, I'm so sorry to hear you are going through this. I think I'd be completely burned out from it all. I've never done a private request through CC, but if it were me, I would email the person in charge of your project and explain that you cannot carry on in this way. I would also prioritise m...

Re: Offer offer offer... and no sales.

The articles he/she bought from me in the past were in 'waiting' status for a while before they were purchased. So I'd like to think that your articles with offers will be the same - he'll probably buy them altogether once he has a number of accepted offers :)
