Re: fairly priced spec vs. underpriced team: which is better
I disagree with most of what Kevin said. However, there does seem to be a real problem with emails not getting through to support. Maybe there's a technical problem that needs to be investigated?

Re: Messages
Have you checked your notifications? I noticed a while ago that my inbox had been split into messages and notifications...not quite sure what's supposed to go where.

Re: Are Conclusions Always Necessary?
Yep, I got a slap on the wrists a couple of years ago for submitting a bunch of list articles (5 Reasons to Blah Blah Blah, etc) without conclusions. If I was writing for my own website I probably wouldn't use a conclusion for these types of article, but it's not worth risking the rejections from CC...

Re: Where is my price/buy button?
Yep, I have the same problem with a couple of my articles. I never get a reply when I email support anymore, so I guess it'll stay that way. Let us know if you find out what's going on.

Confirm Button for Writer Pool Requests
I accidentally claimed an article while scrolling through the writer pool requests...it was only when I went back to check something a few hours later that I noticed. Having a confirm button - e.g. are you sure you want to claim this project - would be useful.

Re: Accepted to Payment?
IreneA, there are lots of writers here receiving offers with no sales from this buyer, but that doesn't mean that s/he is playing games. I've had sales from this buyer before and they were not low offers, so the customer is genuine. Having said that, ranting and raving and slagging off customers on ...

Re: Pros and/or cons of the percentage of Long Summary to Sh
I always show the whole article in the long summary...mainly because if I was a buyer, I wouldn't buy an article without having seen the whole thing. I know some people worry about articles being scraped, but scrapers still stole my articles when I only used 65% in the long summary. It's personal ch...

Re: Is the catalog marketed any more?
I've wondered the same thing. Four or five years ago I used to sell around 80% of articles within a couple of weeks. Now I sell maybe 20% in the first couple of weeks...the rest sit in the catalog for 3-9 months before selling, and there are far less hits on articles than there used to be. It's frus...

Re: Greetings!
I wouldn't necessarily agree that writing mindless web content makes people better at writing. It's kind of like being taught to drive by a bad driver...you'll almost certainly pick up some of their bad habits. And on this site, those bad habits are punishable by CC death (suspension). The other thi...

Professional Certificates
Please can we have the option to enter our professional certificates manually or at least have the option to select 'other'. I have three professional certificates but none of them are listed in the options, so I have no choice but to select 'none'.

Scroll to the right using the scroll bar at the bottom of your browser. The comments are at the side of your content. I had the same problem...took me ages to figure it out.

Am I missing something with the new submission form? I'm trying to submit some articles but there appears to be no way to paste the content into the content window. Please tell me we don't now have to type everything out again into the content window...or am I missing something - is there a setting ...
