Complete record of sales?
Hi, I'm updating my personal record keeping system for my articles and sales from this site. I need a listing of all the articles I've sold, and the "My Sales" tab only shows the 9 most recent. Is there a place where I can see all of them along with the date and sold price? The "My Co...

Re: 2017 Writing Goals
My main thrust is going to be developing my own freelance writing clients with businesses, getting a website up, blogging regularly and marketing myself. However, CC is hard to quit! I love being able to write about anything that I feel like, setting a price, and sales always feel like a great boost...

Resubmitting Articles That Were Taken Down
Last year I took down a number of articles that had been languishing unsold, thinking that I would try to do something else with them. I'd like to put them back up on Constant Content but I'm worried about them getting rejected or even getting banned because it seems to be duplicate material. My Que...

Re: Question about traffic and sales
It definitely rises and falls, and summer is always slow. I'm working on beefing up my catalog with evergreen stuff so it is there when buyers come back. I have also raised my rates a bit to close to 10 cents a word, and that seems to do pretty well in the business and tech categories. Even the quic...

Re: Stay or Go?
Seeing the various reactions today, it seems like this was an emotional vote rather than a rational one. Don't know if this is an actual reflection of sentiment or just a few people but I've seen several stories of people who voted for Brexit being shocked, worried and somewhat dismayed about the res...

How are they looking these days, for general submissions as opposed to specific assignments for clients?

Re: Struggling with Submission Interface
Same here. I'm just trying to get a larger catalog up; shooting for at least one submission per day for the summer. We'll see how it goes

Re: Struggling with Submission Interface
I figured out a work around for it. I did select All (Ctrl-A) on my Google doc, then did Ctrl-B to bold everything and then again to remove all the bolding. At this point I had basically plain text. I then copied and pasted to a Notepad window, saved that document, opened it back up, selected all an...

Struggling with Submission Interface
I'm trying to submit my first article in a couple of months, and it looks like the submission interface has changed again. The font sizes are numbered 1-5 instead of by point size, which is a pain when the guidelines specify by point size. I remember it being this way previously but then changing. My...

Rejection for First Person in Title
I recently submitted an article with the title phrased as "Can X Help Me Do Y?" It was rejected for having first person (along with another issue which was separate) with a note that said "We never use the first person, even in titles". I thought that was odd because I could have...

How to deliver private request article?
I did a private request article this week, my first, and my first article submission for any request in well over a year, so I'm alittle rusty on procedures. I submitted the article yesterday and it was approved by editors today. I then went to the request and clicked the button on the request to le...

Resubmitting Deleted Articles?
I went through a bit of a housecleaning a while back and deleted some older articles that had never sold. Some of them were seasonal and I was thinking that it might be good to put them back and give them another chance as various holidays approach. Can I simply resubmit them or do I have to make si...

Re: Applying for a Casting Call
I went ahead and cut/paste into a message.
I would still be interested in how others have handled this.

Applying for a Casting Call
I am in the process of applying for my first-ever casting call. I sent an initial note to the requester, and received a friendly response asking me to share examples of my work for review. My question is, how do people usually do this? Do you cut/paste a relevant article from your past writing into ...

Contacting Buyers with Future Articles
I have never (I don't think) communicated directly with a buyer. I noticed that one name has bought almost all my articles about a particular topic. Is it possible to contact that buyer when I put similar material into the catalog? Is it okay to do so?
