Re: Can I contact a client who purchased from my catalogue?

hmmm, so I tried to contact that client - but I can't even figure out how to do this! So I guess that's my answer! :? I wouldn't share any contact details, I was just intending to communicate thru the CC platform. But I'm surprised to hear that you got flagged so quickly for chatting! Kinda funny

Can I contact a client who purchased from my catalogue?

I see that the same client has purchased a few of my articles from my catalogue, NOT private requests. Is there a way that I can contact this client in order to "say thank you", and express an interest in working with them if they have future writing needs, etc...? And while we're on the t...

Re: Question about submitting for private requests

I know this may be slightly neurotic- but the main reason I wanted to "close" with these requests so quickly, which is why I wrote them immediately, is because CC only pays once a month - and payday is coming up! I didn't want payment for these articles to drag over til August! Extra spend...

Re: Question about submitting for private requests

thanks!

Have you ever submitted for a private request and then the client did not purchase it, even if it was written well for the instructions? Is there such a risk?

I'd hate to have wasted my time with such a thing...

Re: Question about submitting for private requests

another question for you CC pros- so I submitted my first document for the Private Req, and the client bought it and wrote back that I should continue writing the next 4 documents the same way. So I did, and I submitted them prompto. CC approved and sent them on to the client almost instantly! My qu...

Question about submitting for private requests

I got my first private request and I claimed it. It is for a series of short articles, each to be submitted separately. (Although we agreed on a total price and not a fee per piece, was that wrong?) Do I submit the same way, through the regular submission page? I submitted the first article, and I w...

Re: Probs submitting article for Public Request

Yep, you are right, it's a casting call. When I wrote the client, she actually asked me for instructions on how to proceed - she told me she couldn't figure out how this site works! (CC editors- take note!) Then she asked me to please submit an article to her. you wrote: " Alternatively, you ca...

Probs submitting article for Public Request

According to the Constant Content blogs and FAQ, authors are discouraged from simply contacting clients to discuss projects listed on Public Request. Instead, authors are encouraged to simply write and submit the articles. Yet there are a few items on Pub Req right now, which do not contain a link t...

Re: Problems Resubmitting after Rejection

Lysis- you are amazing, and 100% correct. Everytime I pressed SAVE CHANGES, the Unique Price reset to 0 you'd think the CC platform would return the page with that field highlighted, or something like that, to indicate why resubmission keeps failing! (thanks so much for reaching out to help! Custome...

Re: Problems Resubmitting after Rejection

I have been having the exact same problem! This happenned to me once last month, and in the end I had to delete my article and then resubmit it as a new article- with the requested revisions. That was the only way I could get the system to accept the revised article! I wrote Customer Support last ti...

Re: Requested Content page vs. requests on Account Status pa

Thank you so much for your reply! When nobody answered my forum post, and there's still no change on my Requested Content screen, and I also sent a letter to Support- yet received no reply, AND none of my submissions have been reviewed in weeks, I was starting to think that this entire community has...

Requested Content page vs. requests on Account Status page?

Can someone explain to me why there are a few article requests that appear on the sidebar of the Account Status page, but when I enter the Requested Content page- there is nothing listed? And if I'm a new writer, with only a level 3 access and not a member of any pools..etc..., is there anything for...
