Re: How long does it take to be accepted into a writer pool?
Heh well I was waiting for over a year. But don't let that discourage you - I was also barely active for that whole year. Once I picked up the pace I got more work. Check out this thread to sort of get a better understanding of how it works (according to us writers!): https://www.constant-content.co...

Re: Resubmission
It's very easy to get confused with submitting files. One time I got so frustrated because my browser was giving me trouble that I straight out delete the article and just submitted again normally (actually it's happened a few times...). I find that you have to be careful with how you "save cha...

Re: How do you claim an article in private requests?
Well private requests and private pool requests should be just that - only for you, and you should be able to find it either under your "Writer Pool" or "Private" tab. If a request is given as a public pool request however, then others would have had a chance to claim it. There i...

Re: Question about Areas of Expertise in the new bio
It does appear that you need a certain number accepted or sold (I am going to go with probably accepted) Most of the things I have checked off appear in my bio, but not anything that I haven't actually written for. For example, I checked off "women's health" but I haven't submitted anythin...

Re: Application Process/Criteria For Writer's Pools
Personally, I've been invited because the customer requested me (not for writer pools but for jobs where there are several writers invited) Exactly the same here! I was invited to the article pool because they needed writers and I was really upping my game at the time, but I have since then been in...

Re: The big order that was coming in last Friday
I've sold just about every movie and show review I have ever written in the past week, so that was nice! All to the same buyer so I assume it was this big order. I actually didn't even realize there WAS a big order coming until I read you guys talking about it now and went back to check my email to ...

Re: Constant Content Owes Me a Payment But Hasn't Issued It
The site has been pretty glitchy lately. Constant Content has never failed to pay me or anything else that I know of what was owed to them. I understand that it must be no fun at all but I highly, highly doubt that whatever happened happened on purpose. I really hope your issue gets resolved!

Re: So... about those private request emails
Happened to me too. Missed one by a couple of days but luckily it had a deadline of over a month. Then 4 more came with a 3 day deadline but luckily I happened to check that day because of what had happened with the first one. I heard that it should be working okay now but I haven't gotten any new p...

Re: How do you get approved for different writing positions?
It just depends if they need people and likely how much you write and if they think you're reliable. It's just the basics really. It's the Internet with a bunch of flaky writers. If they can count on you and you are a regular, I'm sure you'll stand out when your area of expertise opens up. It's no ...

Re: New Here: How do you stay organized with sales?
I don't do anything too special. I just have a folder of accepted content, and inside that folder, one of sold content. But I have a hard time keeping up with that!! I also move every e-mail about a sold article into a separate folder in my e-mail.

Re: What are we missing?
I've had that problem in the past and the way I was able to make it work was by making sure that my image was a perfect square (or as close as possible to square).weagle87 wrote: P.S. I cannot change my picture although I can update my bio.

Re: Writers' Pool Articles Still in Queue?
No worries :) It can be unfortunate if you need the money, wrote a bunch of articles, but then they just sit there. Sometimes I've had to wait several weeks for them to finally get purchased, but without fail all of my Writers' Pool articles have been purchased every single time. In my experience, h...

Re: Writers' Pool Articles Still in Queue?
Yes it's pretty normal, especially for one client, so I'm willing to wager that that is who you wrote for. I have 4 articles that I wrote before the deadline still on view status, but this has happened to me before with upwards of 13. Don't worry, in my experience they will be bought eventually, tho...

Re: What to write about?
Much like what everyone else here has said, spend some time writing both about what interests you and about something new and popular. Learning to branch out into different areas has made my work here that much more rewarding, but never forgetting about my niche (religion and culture) has landed me ...
