How many articles do you write a day / week?

Hi all, I'm just curious to know how many articles writers are posting to Constant Content over the average day / week / month and how you keep motivated? I decided to dedicate myself to CC full-time in June and managed to write and upload about 60 articles. I stay motivated by doing quite a bit of ...

Re: Your content editor needs to be changed

Have you tried clearing out your web browser's cache, it's possible that the glitch might be in there. Also, just as a suggestion, you could try writing an article in Google Drive (it's free) and copying / pasting from there. I've been doing that for several months now without a problem aside from o...

Creating Article Headlines That Sell - Research & Advice

Hi folks, I recently came across this article: http://blog.bufferapp.com/words-and-phrases-that-convert-ultimate-list It contains lots of research and analysis on the best words to use in copy that converts people to a 'call to action'. I was thinking that on CC, the call to action for us is for peo...

Re: A Gentle Plea to CC - Consistency in Editing

Hi all! I'm prowling around here after a long hiatus from CC, trying to figure out what has changed. So let me get this straight: The words "this," "that," "those," and "you" have fallen out of favor? I can sort of understand the first three, but avoiding &qu...

Re: Informal Tone?

I'm not sure if its what you want, but there's a 'Blog Entries' category as a sub of the 'General' category. Yes! That's exactly what I meant. I guess what I'm wondering is that if you select the "Blog entries" option if you can be a bit more informal with your work and make the sort of s...

Re: Back after hiatus: Can't figure out new submission proce

Hi all! I am back after a hiatus, and I see that things at CC have changed! The last time I submitted an article here, I uploaded the document from my computer. Now, I see a place to cut and paste the text (I think). I cannot find any hints on how to use this system in the Writer Guidelines or Writ...

Re: 5,000+ word article ACCEPTED??!!!

The other thing is that they would be more likely to get sales and would make more money if they just split it into several shorter articles.

Re: How are articles *actually* priced per word? - Data Anal

I see articles for sale in the price per word range of 10 cents and up. so i am assuming the average sale price includes those who sell for a penny or two and that is bringing the stats down so low? The price per word is based on articles that have actually sold, not those that are for sale. So art...

Re: How are articles *actually* priced per word? - Data Anal

I'm trying to do 5/day but get burnt. I've seen writers write 100/month for a while back when I was trying to get an idea of the potential money each day I could make here. Also trying to write some longer articles although I know those don't sell as well. I've sold really long articles but 5/day s...

Not surprisingly (!), I'm also tracking my own productivity here and over the last month I have averaged between 3 and 4 articles submitted a day - No idea if this is typical or not.

Re: How are articles *actually* priced per word? - Data Anal

So were these stats generated from articles in the general catalogue which have prices next to them but haven't been bought yet? My experience seems a bit different really. Some writer pool buyers are paying 5c per word for relatively easy stuff, and others pay 8-10c. My private client pays 10c per...

Hi there Rob, I've made some posts using data that I have gathered from the CC recent sales page which might help to answer this question; here's a thread that you may find relevant: https://www.constant-content.com/forum/ ... =2&t=76741

Exposing the Raw Data - Here's the Spreadsheet!

All of the data that I have been posting recently has come from a Google spreadsheet where I have been gathering data from various places on Constant Content. I'm happy to make the spreadsheet itself publicly available for viewing and you can access it here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1d...
