Problems With Submitting a Revision
I revised an article and what's visible to me are 1) Previous Submission and Reattach File 2) Attached Files and 3) Add a New File. I chose Add a New File. First, I deleted the old file from the Content Text box. Then I copied and pasted and choose a New File and Uploaded it. My revision is not in t...

Re: Your content editor needs to be changed
I agree. After I finish an article and I am ready to copy and paste it, I have to take a deep breath because I know that I have hard work ahead. Submitting an article for review using my Mac under this new system is never easy. About 50 % of the time I can submit the article with no problem, but eve...

Mac Users—How Do You Submit Your Articles?
I got a rejection because my article had typos and spelling errors. However, since I was careful to proofread my article before submitting it, I think my problem is a technical one because I had a lot of trouble submitting it. Even though just before submitting the article I looked at the bottom of ...

Re: Is Rich Text Format (.rtf) Now Default Extension?
Hi Lysis,
Thanks for the information. The new system does make it easier to handle files.

Is Rich Text Format (.rtf) Now Default Extension?
I've been away from CC a few months and when I prepared a recent article for submission, I see that the first file to download is in Rich Text Format. Before, I saved all my files/articles in .doc (Word) and submitted them in Word even though I use a Mac. Now my default seems to be .rtf. So, is it o...

Trouble Putting in Prices for Rights and Odd Error Message
I recently submitted an article after being away from CC for a few months. As I was trying to put in the price for the rights—I only wanted to sell all rights—the system won't let me. I ending up having to put the same price in the use, unique and fullrights fields. Also, as I was trying to fill in ...

Re: Long Summary Being Auto Generated
I was wrong. I can still go to account details and choose 33% as my default setting. However, after reading discussions I will try 100% with some articles.

Re: Long Summary Being Auto Generated
In my most recent post, I notice that the entire article is posted even though In My Account details I put the default at 33%. But I don't have a problem with the entire article posted if CC thinks that will boost sales. I will see what happens.

Is There a Delay in Reviewing Articles?
Four days ago I resubmitted an article and it is still listed as "Resubmitted." Ordinarily by now the status would be listed as "Review." Should I wait a little longer, delete the article and resubmit it or contact Support?

Re: Need help w submission form: long & short summary, et al
I found the answer by looking more closely in the Forum. After I highlighted text and selected Copy>Paste, I put the cursor in the full-text section, hit Command + V and the text came up. Also the Long Summary came up automatically because a certain number of words seem to be chosen automatically.

Need help w submission form: long & short summary, et al
In the new submission form, what's difference between long summary and short summary? I can't find any guidelines about the length of the long summary or what should be in it. Also, when I tried to Copy>Paste my article onto the submission form using a Mac, it didn't work. I can always type it manua...
