Re: How to do article that is meant to have links?

I use Evernote for this. I include a reference section at the end of the article submission and include the link (minus the https) to the Evernote file. The Evernote file includes the screenshots, image files, etc. for the client to use. Would that work for you?

Re: Accessing Old Articles

No, the old 2013 articles in my catalog I'm talking about have never been sold for usage/unique/full rights. To me, it's common sense writers can't change an article once it has been sold for usage rights. If it were only a couple of articles I couldn't access, it wouldn't be a big deal. Unfortunate...

Re: Accessing Old Articles

I just checked a few from 2013, 2011, and 2006 and no problems. Hopefully, this gets ironed out for you soon. Thank you for checking. It's any issue that's been going on for many months, but haven't had any luck getting assistance from CC support. All my articles from 2013 and older only show the s...

Re: Purged article...

I haven't heard of that as a reason before! Surely someone would want to buy something that was 'promotional'. Articles are often used to sell. But I would just make it more generic and resubmit. Nope. 'No promotional content' is right in the writer guidelines: Submissions Must Not Include: •Poetry...

Re: Purged article...

Have you tried adding similar products/companies to the piece? For example, instead of "Five Reasons Constant Content Rocks" maybe try "3 Content Creation Agencies Freelance Writers Should Be Using". I've found that focusing on one company will earn you a rejection, but adding co...

Re: Wordiness

Have you tried running the piece through https://grammark.org/dist/#/fix/wordiness to see if there's anything you can cut? I heard Constant Content was adding new editors, so maybe you've run across a new one? Are any of these 93 phrases (http://writerswrite.co.za/93-extremely-bad-business-writing-h...

Preview % Options

ICYMI: You can now change the % of an article you show in your long summary preview on Constant Content. I think it used to be either 33%, 75%, or full, but now you can change your 'Default Long Summary Percentage' in increments of one (anywhere between 33 - 100). Might be old news to some, but the ...

If y'all are finding it slow for sales during the summer, have you tried combining multiple keywords from CC's recent/popular list into one article? Target multiple opportunities with one article? Here's the current list of recently searched for keywords. How many can you work into one article? :lol...

Re: Do Some Marketing

Use caution when tweeting. Tweets are now indexed by search engines, so if you tweet a link to a specific title, e.g. "5 Ways to Market Your …", your title will be indexed. Should a potential buyer conduct a Google search prior to purchasing your article, they'll find your article indexed ...
