Re: Erroneous information in sold article
Hi, I understand your frustration, but you don't really have to worry about it. If the buyer is in any way unsatisfied with your article, he can simply return it. I'm not sure if he can contact C-C and ask for a revision but, in any case, the ball is in his court now. It's always annoying to find er...

Re: Insurance and Credit Card Articles Needed For Monday
Luckily, all four of my articles made their way into the order. If everything goes well, I'll have made enough to pay my rent this month! It sucks to not have any other source of income (I miss my old job! ) but that's the way things are for me right now... Hug 'n kiss, Constant-Content! Thank...

Re: Insurance and Credit Card Articles Needed For Monday
JJMbuzz, it's possible. If I can remember right (which I can't guarantee after so many sleepless hours!) the auto insurance category was the first one to be filled last time. I chose life insurance istead, but my submissions are still under review. :? Quite frankly, I wouldn't want to be in the edit...

Re: Insurance and Credit Card Articles Needed For Monday
@stelle: I know, but I kinda hoped I would get a little money coming my way. I've submitted several new articles over the past few weeks but they're only getting few hits, so I though this would be a good opportunity. I've been on this site for a couple of years but only started writing regularly fo...

Re: Insurance and Credit Card Articles Needed For Monday
Yup, I also have three in review after writing till 9 in the morning, but I don't think it's worth pushing it any longer. I have one in "waiting" as well, but I'd dread to think that it may be my only sale this time!

Re: Insurance and Credit Card Articles Needed For Monday
Hi Constant,
Are those figures based on the total number of articles already submitted or the ones that you guys have reviewed?
Keep up the good work!
Thanks

Re: Getting Approved for?
Hi there, I think you get approved for categories when you get accepted in the writers' pool, but I'm not really sure how that works. I applied several months ago, and have yet to hear from C-C about it. Hopefully, someone who's already been approved for any of these categories will chime in. By the...

Re: My three articles were rejected
If your account was suspended, you would probably receive a relevant email, so I suppose you can still give it another shot. When you're first starting on C-C, I think it's best to take it slow. Review one of the articles you submitted, and check for any possible grammar, spelling, and punctuation s...

Re: full text or excerpt?
I prefer to just post the entire article. I like the reader to be able to see the whole thing before buying it. Yeah yeah, I know, there are scrapers, and that's why C-C has a return policy in case the customer doesn't like the rest of the article... But I really can't bother to think of it that way...

Re: I think I did a bad thing.
Don't worry! Long review times are normal sometimes, depending on how much work the editors have. My articles have also been in queue for 4 days or so. Just keep working on new ideas to submit once you've gotten a response.

Re: Formatting subheadings
When the subheader is at the same line with the rest of the text, I always use a colon. I've submitted many articles in this format, and I've never had a problem. If the subheader is above the main text, I like to capitalize it like a normal title, and avoid using a full stop. That's the way I like ...

Re: Are CC's standards slipping?
I didn't really mind. I corrected it, resubmitted, and got it accepted a few minutes later. No biggie! When I first started writing for C-C, I had that stiff, essay-like style I had inherited from my university years. To be honest, I didn't know what the site wanted, and I was too scared to e...

Hey there!
Just a few hours ago, I got an article rejected for using a space after a slash. The universe is in perfect order.

Re: zero views!
Yup! Same here. I started writing more regularly for C-C a little over a month ago, and it's been that way ever since. Only two articles made it to get some views -I believe it's because they remained on the first page for a couple of days. Other than that, it's all ones and zeros! I was thinking I ...
