Affiliate links to sign up new authors

Hi everyone! A friend is trying to sign up, and she pointed out that when she clicks my affiliate link, it just brings her to Constant Content's main page. Is that normal? If she then signs up, will it register that I referred her? Thanks in advance!

Phew! I just got a message saying the problem was on their end. I'm so glad, partly because I know support has enough to deal with right now.

However, I would like to add that support responded to me within mere minutes with a temporary solution. I was quite impressed! Thank you both.

Disappearing comments in Microsoft Word

Ed, I just emailed support, but I hope you might be able to shed some light on this as well. When a private requestor purchased three of my articles just now ("Appendix Symptoms," "Symptoms of the Flu," and "Strep Throat Symptoms" - all went through the review process t...

He can also send the document to support, and they can forward it on to you. Old support used to do this for one of my customers, so that might be a good option if he doesn't have a website to upload it on.

I just want to add that I think it should always be "log on to" and "log in to" something (i.e. log on to the network, log in to Gmail, log in to Constant Content).

Thanks for sharing what you had learned, EAW. I'd never heard the distinction.

They'll be able to download the file that you submitted, which should have the full version of your article even if the long summary only showed part of it.

(I took a shot based on what I think you meant - does this answer your question?)

I also have a Toshiba Satellite, and I write from a chair. Not good for my posture, as Ed pointed out. And sometimes I do write on my Palm...but only when I'm "on the road" so to speak. I've got a portable keyboard for it too.

Thanks Elizabeth! I feel the same connection for the same reason - and I've been impressed with what you've done in the same amount of time! Your website looks very professional, and you've certainly made a name for yourself here. And here's a secret: when I feel I need to remind myself to go deeper...

Okay, I believe my goals were to post $500 worth of articles and to get up to date on my blog. Since then I've posted $300 worth of articles, and I'm up to March 10 on my blog (but I have several posts ready from the end of the month). It's a personal travel/living abroad journal, which is why I can...

Hi there, From what I understand, you can submit a document with photos embedded and let customers know in your short summary, and by adding something in your long summary like [Photo: San Antonio River] in the appropriate spots. However, doing it this way, customers won't be able to see the photos ...

Thanks be to Ed!

Hi Ed! I know you know we all appreciate you, but I've been feeling especially appreciative the past two weeks as you've processed my articles (complete with potentially eye-straining specifications from the client) in an incredibly speedy manner. I think an inner thanks each time an article gets ac...
