Re: Stripe Account

I can't offer any practical help, other than to say I'm in Europe and have been paid each month by bank transfer. I know that's no help to you, but at least it might reassure that they DO pay internationally, and they're not just holding the money for any darker reasons. Have you anyone you can cont...

Re: Potential Purchaser asking for changes/customization

I'd agree a rough estimate of how much the changes would cost, then ask them to buy the article and put in a revision request with the estimated fee attached. If the work seems reasonable, all's good. If not, they can always agree a new revision price or return the sale, and no one's lost out.

Re: Article rejected because summary was 29 words instead of

I've got to admit I've never once counted my summary words. I did go through a period of having summaries rejected for having less than three sentences, even though I couldn't find that stipulation anywhere. These things seem to come in bursts, presumably an eager new editor who soon gets a bit more...

Re: Cannot Edit or Delete Old Article

You should be able to delete, unless it's already sold for usage or unique rights? My oldest unsold article is mid 2015 and still has a delete option.

AFAIK edits of the main text and title are always blocked once approved, although you can tweak the short description, keywords, and category.

Re: Article has been "Waiting" for a Week

'Waiting' articles are supposed to be returned to the catalog after five working days, but I've found this very unreliable. And as it can be difficult to get a response from support at times, I generally just set myself a reminder for a week's time, then delete and resubmit the article if it's still...

Re: Access Level

It's odd, isn't it? I've spent most of the last few years at level one with bounces back and forth to two. A couple of weeks ago I suddenly hit three  I suppose my writing quality might have taken a dive, but my clients and CC catalog buyers don't seem to think so  The only thing I can ...

Re: Numbered paragraphs

I either do numbered paragraphs for shorter 'listicle' things, a subheading for each point, or numbered subheadings. I've never had a rejection for any of those formats.

Re: Account showing negative balance

I don't think it's an email preferences issue. I'm set to receive all types of CC emails but didn't get anything about this until contacting support.

Precisely. I don't mind CC's 35% if it gives me a quiet life, but if I'm going to eat that and still have client issues... nah...

Re: Help! Revision request

HG's approach is a good one, but I'd ask myself if I wanted a raging customer as a long-term client...

If I was in this situation I'd probably advise the customer to take it up with CC or just return the article, whichever they preferred. Life's too short :)

Maybe there's still time to get some reviewed, considering I've just yesterday sold the last of my 2018 ones... I guess my hot predictions were more evergreen than I thought
