Your understanding of usage rights is correct. They aren't allowed to change anything. Unfortunately, some clients violate their contract. I've dealt with the same problems you're having. Here's how I solved them: 1. Save copy as a plain text file, then copy that and paste it into CC's editor. I had the same problem as well. When I used the paste feature of the editor, though, the source went where I wanted it.
