I'm looking for an alpha or beta reader with some amount of success on C.C. to trade short, editing favors with me; I'd be much more confident submitting articles if I had another set of eyes to gloss over my work.

It is too bad that the editors are inconsistent, and it's something CC should try to improve, but I would still say it's ultimately more of an annoyance and an inconvenience than anything else. Yes I have the tab on my page, when I click on it, a blank page shows up.
I also have a 'newly requested content' on the right side of my page, when I click on a heading for further details, it brings me back to my account status.

I have the same problem, it must not be an issue for everyone because I can't find any help either...
