Hello everyone,
I'm looking for an alpha or beta reader with some amount of success on C.C. to trade short, editing favors with me; I'd be much more confident submitting articles if I had another set of eyes to gloss over my work.

edit, resubmit w/o rejection
Hello All, I haven't been on C.C. in ages because it frays my nerves to think about being rejected, suspended and thrown out, but I'm back to give it another go. I'd like to take an article that hasn't sold and edit it...add things, delete things, and re-write it, but leave the 'bones' in. Can someo...

Re: Resubmission
Yes I guess that's the only thing left to do, I was kind of hoping that it would be a quick fix (something I was doing wrong) but I guess not.
Thank you for your advice, I appreciate it

Re: Resubmission
I don't think you successfully resubmitted. If I recall correctly, there is a button to save and another button to resubmit. I had to resubmit last week, and my memory might be faulty, but I'm pretty sure I clicked two buttons. Maybe the re-submission button is at the bottom. I'm pretty sure the st...

Resubmission
Hello to All, I resubmitted an edited article several times but I don't get a confirmation page saying that I've resubmitted. The status still says 'rejected,' not 'in review' in my content page. It's been a week since I originally resubmitted. My question is, is this article in the review process e...

Re: Newbie
In a other thread that asked a simialr question, Constant replied, 'First time posters need to have their message approved by a moderator to control spam. Now that you've been approved you should be able to post with no restrictions.' So it may be the same for you and you just have to be patient - ...

Re: Take a look?
It is too bad that the editors are inconsistent, and it's something CC should try to improve, but I would still say it's ultimately more of an annoyance and an inconvenience than anything else. Once you figure out what the editors are usually okay with, the vast majority of your articles should go ...

Re: Take a look?
Thank you for your quick replies...yes I've read many forum posts about inconsistency in editing practices at C.C. It's pretty surprising, since C.C. is regarded as a high-quality writing site..you would think that editorial consistency would be a major concern of theirs. It's difficult to write for...

Take a look?
Hello to All, I'm a newbie, with only one article published. The second article I submitted was rejected on the grounds that it was "just a list." I'm still pretty sore about that; I read the guidelines thoroughly, and made sure that my points were meaty... not just a list. I guess it real...

Re: Requested Content
Yes I have the tab on my page, when I click on it, a blank page shows up.
I also have a 'newly requested content' on the right side of my page, when I click on a heading for further details, it brings me back to my account status.

Newbie
Hello All,
I am happy to be accepted as a new writer on CC, but I'm having some trouble...I can't seem to get my questions to post on forum's, and I have some other questions too. Can anyone offer help?
