CC's Policies on Double Use of Purchased Article
What is the process for reporting license infringement? I emailed Constant Content regarding a purchased article that has the potential of being used twice (which is infringing on the license). I contacted CC 1 month ago. I have not received any correspondence back and I mean nothing! Is this typica...

Re: *Alert* Customer offer strategy...
I found this most informative. Thanks for posting the alert. I haven't been around for awhile, and was prompted to checkout the forum when I received 5 extremely low and I mean extremely low offers all in a row. I first received offers of only $3.00 then they upped it to $7.00 without me doing anyth...

Thank you to everyone who responded. Based on the clarifications to my questions I will need to contact support. Thank you, Celeste. You are indeed correct when you said there were some gray areas.

What Can Editors Change with Use License?
I would like clarification on what editors can change to an article when they purchase "use" license. Can they add their own images? Can they delete images that were embedded into the article by the author? Can they add to the title? Can they add paragraphs within the article? Can they re-...

Re: Question for Ed Regarding citing recipes
Years ago I found a good resource that details out how to write recipes. The book is titled: How to Write a Cook Book and Get it Published by: Sarah Pitzer. Cincinnati, Ohio : Writer's Digest Books, c1984. ISBN: 0898791324. It not only describes how to write recipes, it explains the legalities. Even...

Re: Enhancement of Photography Section
One suggestion is this - for writers who are also photographers to illustrate their own articles and to present the whole thing as a package. The old Constant Content website had a search function where article buyers can search for articles with images. Unfortunately, this no longer exists. It is ...

Re: How to say no to a private requester
Thanks for sharing Celeste. I also did this article. I stumbled on that exact point, plus came up with some new stumbling points. Every state has different licensing - thus different pricing. It costs more to do business in California than it does in Texas. Certified licensing is the key along with ...

Re: Submitting a Photo
Entering 0.00 doesn't work anymore. What I do is enter the same amount in all the fields. Then after the submission is complete go back to edit the entry. Once your in the edit screen then you can place the zero in the full rights field.

Re: Enhancement of Photography Section
Sounds like we are both professionals trying to convey some expertise on the topic. All of the comments are related to quality, however, I'm trying to give out information that will assist contributors when conducting research on setting prices. Since you brought up Corbis, I will use them as an exa...

Re: Enhancement of Photography Section
Sadly, the photo section seems like a cemetery of Desperate Housewives´ garden flower shots, price 170 dollars. I believe the point that is trying to be made in the quote is related to the business term "dumping". The term dumping is used when products are being sold on the open market fo...
