REason:  You are absolutely right on all your suggestions, especially the QUALITY reference. I have pulled off all my articles, partly because of what you found needs improving, and will not repost. But I shall continue to check every once in a while because I like to read various opnions on fr...

 That's one of the reasons why I'm pulling my articles off this site today and unsubscribing pronto -- writers get the short end of the stick. Use articles don't sell while buyers of full rights articles can knock off the byline, add their own and resell them. Isn't that plagerism re...

8) One key word has surfaced on this site -- marketing. I'm a writer, not a promoter, and many of the sites I write for DO THE MARKETING for my columns, articles, stories. :P For example, my horse racing columns appear on many racebook websites and they do all the promoting, even running my pic: spo...

 I never implied it was unethical -- I just said it's not for me. It makes more sense to publish articles from reliable writers that have credentials in their fields of expertise and rely on quality instead going the cheap route. :P I've found over the years that most responsible parties that...

 After reading all the banter on this forum, I have again arrived at the same conclusion I did several weeks ago -- usage doesn't make it while full rights is the only way to go. Ah, but if you go full rights, the buyers are extremely happy bevcause they redo your articles, knock off...

I really appreciate your response. I learned a long time ago not to blame anyone for so-called setbacks or a lack of sucess -- only yourself. That's because you can't win friends and influence people with vinegar -- better with honey. This is not really a setback, more of recognizing when you're spi...

Well, I beg to differ for several reasons. First, I know the market. I've been freelancing for more than four decades before and after I was a full-time editor/writer/columnist at The Miami Herald . Secondly, I earn a pretty good buck writing on a vareity of subjects for many clients since retiring ...

purchasing content

I'm not worried about what the requested content is because that's exclusively up to those seeking articles. However, I am concerned about the content being requested and the subject matter. It appears my areas of expertise just don't chive with the areas that get the most action. I have posted a ha...

When to Cut Bait

I've posted a half-dozen first-class articles and haven't had a nibble. I've noticed that the recently sold articles are not even close to my subject matter. I've reduced the price across-the-board several times so my question is: When do I cut bait and bail out? Frankly, it appears I'm wasting my t...

Responding to New Article Requests

Since I've been receiving offers, none of which so far is in any area of my
expertise, I'd like to know who do I respond to if I agree to write a new article. And
what is the procedure to follow through. Does any specific section cover it? I'd really appreciate some advice and help. Thanks.
