Re: What is the highest amount an article has sold for on CC?

Not sure what the highest has sold for, but from personal experience, my highest has been $150.

Re: How-To Articles: MS Excel, Word, Access?

A while back there was a request listed for articles about Microsoft Access. Though I was no expert on the topic, I did manage to write a couple articles on the topic, which sold. From experience, if you can get it approved by Ed, then there's a great chance that it will sell. You just need that rig...

Re: Articles moved from a private request

A lot of it depends on how long ago the articles were written. The older the article, the fewer views it will get. For instance, one of my articles sat for a long time in review, so by the time it finally appeared on the site, it was way back on the sixth page within the category that I had listed i...

Re: Accepted an Offer...then it disappeared?

Not quite done, once you've accepted an offer, the buyer still has to come back and make the purchase.

As for the original poster's question, I'm really not sure, sorry.

Re: Why am still under review?

I wouldn't be too concerned if you only submitted them on the 21st and 23rd. I also submitted one on the 21st that is still in review. It can take around a week sometimes for the regular articles to get reviewed depending on how many are in the cue. The articles submitted to the public and private r...

Re: How much are we worth?

As far as I know the "waiting" status appears when someone puts an article into their shopping cart. So, it could be that they've bought your article and CC is just waiting for the payment to go through, or it could be that they've created a shopping cart, but didn't finish with the final ...

Re: "Keep me logged in" button

I've almost got myself trained now to hit "tab, tab, enter" when I log in, so that I don't hit that customer log in button. Almost

And that idea of a separate log in page for authors with the latest "news" sounds like it would come in handy.

Re: Affiliates (recruited authors)

Yes I agree about the new grammar and syntax test, that should seriously speed things up a great deal! Excellent work :)

(I just love how this site is always working with the writers to make it even better!)

Re: Can submitting to public requests hurt future sales?

No worries, it can be hard to understand each other because it's a forum. Misunderstandings are bound to happen lol... Another tip I thought I'd add... keep checking the Search Topics page within the Recently Sold Content section. Sometimes I see new search terms in there that I hadn't thought of my...

Re: Can submitting to public requests hurt future sales?

In response to the adding more keywords, you don't need to stuff your articles with keywords, just go to "My Content" and click edit on any one of your articles. Inside that page near the bottom, is a box where you can add keywords. This isn't adding keywords to the article itself, rather ...

Re: Are authors protected from content theft?

As far as I know, they only see what you include in your long summary just like any other customer. The only difference is, they are the only ones that can view your long summary for the first three days. After the payment has been made, the file with the full article is then provided.

Re: Original content

Were you trying to submit it with prices marked in the unique or full rights licence areas? That would be a problem if your article appears other places. Previously published articles can only be submitted for usage. The only other thing I can think of is that the original article wasn't easily attr...

Re: Affiliates (recruited authors)

I'm curious here. These numbers you are throwing around Celeste - are they supposed to represent the amount of money you have made, or the amount of money that your referrer has been getting. I'm just reading the numbers and am sort of confused here. From the impression I've gotten, the $10k to $80k...

If you are ever looking for some new fingers to blast those posts, just let me know. I'd be happy to help since I'm constantly popping in and out of the forums anyway :) It's nice to see the CC members getting together to find a solution to the (seemingly ever-growing) spammer problems.
