Re: Is Coronavirus content allowed or not?

So, how do you explain the email CC sent to writers requesting articles on precisely this topic. Some of the suggested titles include: “X best medical practices to stop spreading COVID-19” “X common hoaxes about COVID-19 to avoid” “X medical facts that we know about COVID-19 that you should know” “I...

What is wrong with this title?

An article entitled "Is My Drinking a Problem?" was rejected because the title was first person POV. I changed it to "Is Your Drinking a Problem?" in both the article and the Title input box. It was again rejected with the message "Please revise your title." I resubmitt...

Re: Article Stolen from My Catalog

CC runs it's plagiarism checks before accepting an article. Should the scenario you suggest arise, they will know that you did not plagiarise, so there should be no chance of getting struck off. However, I would guess that a customer who'd buy an article and then discover that it had been previously...

Re: Moving article form gen catalog to Writer Pool request

Easy - just use Attach Article option. Wish I'd twigged that before I deleted and resubmitted article!

Moving article form gen catalog to Writer Pool request

I submitted an article intended fro a claimed Writer Pool request, but accidentally clicked on Not for a Request. The article has been approved by editors and its status is now View. Does anybody know how I can addit it to the correct Writer Pool request? Thanks.

Re: Green font color on new site

Hi Abbamay,

Try pasting text into a plain text editor first, copy that and then paste into CC. That should eliminate the spacing problem but it may also destroy any special formatting.

Re: Question about a Request (Blood Malignancies)

The document that downloads actually belongs to another project, so there appears to be a bug in the system. I suggest you contact the people who posted the request. Looks to me as if they are looking for articles to include in some promo material for the conference. I assume they will need to alloc...

Re: Green font color on new site

It's better, but green on white is always going to look weak, which is why you will not find it anywhere on the world's most popular web pages. Eyesight, colour blindness, monitor quality, ambient light, font size and weight etc. can all affect readability, so it is only common sense to eliminate as...

Green font color on new site

This is a terrible choice of colour on a white background. It's barely legible (to me at least). I can see no point whatsoever in choosing a color that makes it a struggle for people to read the text. If customers see the same scheme, I think they will not be very impressed.

Re: Vanishing articles

I assume you mean the projects disappear, not your articles. It appears that projects are taken off the outstanding projects list a few days after they expire. You can still Claim unclaimed projects right up until they are removed from the list, but you cannot submit articles to them when they disap...

Re: How To Put Title in Italics In Long Sumary

The Long summary is generated automatically form your article, and ther is no way to edit it. I would have thought it would copy formatting and style etc. If not, I would contact support - it looks like this may be a bug.

Re: Firt Time Rejection Reason

A long time ago I learned these rules for presentations, reports, articles etc.

Intro: Tell'em what you're gonna tell'em
Content: Tell'em what you told'em you'd tell'em
Conclusion: Tell'em what you told'em

Re: Problem with a rejection for a request

If a client requests hyperlinks, then you should put them in. The reason they are not permitted in other circumstances is that they allow people to navigate away form the article page, which is something most buyers would not want.

The CC article submission text box even has an Insert Hyperlink tool.

Re: Holiday?

When I was new here, I sent a query about a "delayed" mid-month payment. The reply I got was that payments are made "semi-monthly, " but not necessarily on the 15th. Sure enough, when I went back into my account, it does not mention 15th, nor is the 15th mentioned in FAQs. I can'...
