Re: Pinterest Invitation

Thanks everyone, I've finally got an invite. For the life of me I can't work out what the fuss is about., It is exactly like weheartit.com, which has been about for a while. Good for presenting a pinboard of images that sum up the ethos or aspirations of your brand. 70% women members, so pretty usef...

Pinterest Invitation

Hello,

I have been asked to write an article about Pinterest, but whatever I do I can't get them to send me an invite. Is anyone already a member and able to send me an invite?

Thanks,

Alex (alexbramwell@gmail.com)

Re: What is your CC "Eureka" moment?

Writing for very specific requests is always a risk. You would do better writing your own articles in high sales categories (monitor the recent sales list).

Re: Affiliate Scheme For Buyers

I mention CC on blogs, and plenty of people say "ooh, didn't know about that". I don't know if any of them go on to buy though!

I do think there is plenty of advertising to do, especially on the pro-blogger websites where loads of potential buyers gather!

Affiliate Scheme For Buyers

I keep finding myself referring new buyers to CC. Is there an affiliate scheme for buyers, or just one for new writers? A scheme for referring new article buyers might be a nice idea!

Try Paperrater.com, it does a basic grammar and spelling check.

Quizzes?

Has anyone had any success with simple, quiz-style articles. The if you answer yes to more that three of these you are ... I am thinking it would be a good way of adding value, but don't know if CC will have them.

Re: One sentyence comment with offer decision

Can you do that in CC? I can't see the option on my received offers page!

One sentyence comment with offer decision

I would really appreciate being able to explain why I have rejected an offer for one of my articles. Not two way communication, but the chance to say "sorry, this article contains insights that are worth more than your offer", or something similar.

What's with wigs?

I notice that wigs keeps coming up in the recent searches list, and is in the top search-word list as well. Has anyone ever sold a wig article?

Re: Selling Images

The Getty Flickr programme is the best place to sell images at the moment. Much higher returns that microstock agencies, such as Istockphoto.

Re: What is your CC "Eureka" moment?

No Eureka moment, but I submitted 40 articles during December, and have sold four so far. I aim to write three a day this year and see where that gets me!

Rejection because "no article attached"

I am a bit confused by this rejection because I thought it was impossible to submit an article without having the text file attached. Is it even possible?
