That happened to me around March 29 and after 5 days I contacted support. They put my article into the public queue soon after. I'm guessing a bug in the system if it's this widespread.

I'm glad to hear some people have had positive results. I usually only respond to a 0 rating if I already know something about the subject. Responding to a public request can get your work approved faster, so even if the customer doesn't read it, the article's out there

Perhpas the editor was referring to the Long Summary in the submission form. Sometimes what looks like double-space in a Word document looks single-space in the Long Summary.

That's up to you. I was just reacting to the phrase "decent-sounding price (better than $7 per 100 words, anyway)" I guess you meant better-sounding to the customer, not to you. I guess you will need to put several 100-word blurbs in one article to meet CC's $7 minimum pricing.
