Re: Bios: What name to use
I always put the name I use as a byline, which is my previous married name, an one that my clients outside CC know me by.

Re: Using sold articles as writing samples?
If the article is published with my byline, I will use it as a reference. After all, the buyer kept my name on it. If not, then I don't refer to it at all
That's what I do as well. I also give a link to my articles for sale here.

Strange Request
Has anyone else had a request to help Autotwitterbot? It asks you to click on a link and rewrite a document. Would CC have checked that link? I'm not clicking it until I get some reassurance. It's too much like a potential scam that might kill my computer.

Re: How to put articles back to the public catalog
In theory if requested articles are not picked up by the client after a week, they should be transferred to your portfolio. It doesn't often happen that quickly though. After a decent amount of time, you need to contact support and request it.

Re: info rides again
Hi Squonk. You are not alone. The same thing has happened to me and to others who have posted about this. I have also sold quite a few articles to the customer in the past but the last one taken was in September last year.

Re: Re-submitting Rejected Articles
@VBlack. My previous post referred to an old system which has now been updated for most of us, so may not be applicable to you. Sorry if it has made you more confused. If you haven't yet tried contacting support, I suggest you do so by clicking on Contact at top right of screen. You may be lucky and...

Re: Writer's Pool/Big Orders Issue
Just found the shared files have come up in my other tab. I guess you just have to have patience. Now is it worth carrying on working to see if I can make sense of any of them? I'll just take a look.

Re: Re-submitting Rejected Articles
PS Once the revisions have gone through, you will get a message saying so. Then you know it has gone back to the editors. I'm not sure but it might take some time to be listed as such on your content page.

Re: Re-submitting Rejected Articles
If you have made changes to your document, you have to upload the file again. I always save it with a different file name so that I can check the right one is included. Could that be where you have been going wrong?

Re: Writer's Pool/Big Orders Issue
I have been told that I have to go to My Projects and select the project (top right) where I will see an option to view shared files with details and information for each article requested. But each time I click on the project, no shared files come up. It's now after 9.30 pm here and the deadline fo...

Re: Not in Search Results
In the past I have often posted such a link on my blog and seen more hits, which I have assumed I can attribute to it.

As long as the article has passed review and is included in your portfolio, you can give someone the link to it.

Click to bring up the article in CC and copy the url for your link. Hope that helps.
