Writer Biography
I am a librarian with over twenty years' experience in a kindergarten-grade 12 school. In this position, I write book reviews, compose newsletters, compile bibliographies, and pen articles for the school web site. My blog, http://www.booklovinggrandma.com, is a venue for book reviews and my thoughts on many topics. I have edited several novels for an up-and-coming author and worked on a manuscript (which needed extensive revisions) by a teen writer. My Bachelor's degree in English and Master's degree in Library Science involved extensive writing and researching, which have stood me in good stead during my career. The very fact that I am a librarian demonstrates that I have the ability to write about many subject areas--when a patron requests assistance, it is imperative that I am able to offer guidance without advance preparation!
