I am a native English speaker now living in Spain. I have also lived and worked in Ireland, the UK, Denmark, Austria and Holland.
I have a BA in English and History, a postgraduate Diploma in Systems Analysis and I am a Microsoft Certified Professional.
I was a teacher at secondary level (13-18 years old) and have also lectured on IT courses. I have had numerous articles published in print and online.
I have worked in IT as a business analyst and programmer.
During my career as an analyst in IT, I developed an in-depth knowledge of many businesses, business processes, and IT applications, software and hardware, which I can now bring to my writing. I also have extensive experience in web development and SEO.
I have worked in the following sectors: medicine, dentistry, manufacturing, accounts, taxation, education, insurance, and pensions. Additionally, I have travelled extensively in Europe and the USA.
As an analyst, I also had to develop a high level of skills in research, something I now find very useful in writing articles.
