Andrew is a freelance writer who specializes in a wide variety of fields. He possesses a Ph.D. in physics and has a strong background in all of the physical sciences. This academic grounding means that all of his work is thoroughly researched, and with a keen attention to detail.
Due to his broad interests, Andrew writes on a variety of different subjects. However, he is particularly passionate about the sciences, conservation, healthy eating, and mental health. He is also a yoga enthusiast, sports fan, and music lover.
Throughout his life, Dr. Lakin has found many routes of employment. Before his academic career, he worked in the construction industry. Since his last post-doctoral position Andrew has worked primarily in app development, as well as developing and maintaining his music based website. He is also the main carer to his two daughters and is passionate about parenting skills and education, particularly in the pre-school age group.
