I graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in journalism. I worked for more than 20 years as a reporter, copy editor and page designers at Kansas newspapers and for 10 years was co-owner of a Spanish and English newspaper. I also have experience in public relations/marketing and as owner of a retail business.
